Key responsibilities:

User Experience (UX) Design

• Conduct user research to understand business requirements and user needs.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to enhance digital experiences.
• Create interactive prototypes to visualize workflows and gather feedback.
• Optimize UI/UX designs based on usability testing and stakeholder input.
• Designing user interfaces for web applications that prioritise user experience and usability.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mock ups to communicate design concepts and iterate based on feedback.

User Interface (UI) Design & Front-End Development

• Design intuitive and aesthetically appealing interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
• Develop responsive and accessible web and mobile application interfaces.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness of applications

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with ICT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to align UI/UX strategies with technical and business objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to maintain visual consistency across digital platforms.
• Present design concepts and gather feedback to refine and enhance user experience.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective UI/UX designs.

Testing & Optimisation

• Conduct usability testing and gather insights to improve design and functionality.
• Monitor and analyse user interactions to identify areas for enhancement.
• Implement performance optimisations to enhance website and application responsiveness.
• Optimising web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to continually enhance the user experience

Compliance & Best practices

• Ensure UI/UX designs comply with accessibility standards and usability best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UI/UX innovations.
• Implementing responsive and interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Staying up to date with emerging UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Design, or related field
• Proven experience in UI/UX design for web applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with responsive design techniques and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts and rationale
• Knowledge of the financial services and insurance industries.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in web UI/UX design and development.
• 3+ years’ experience in Web technologies (HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript / AJAX, Responsive design) and Mobile technologies (IOS, Android).
• 3+ years’ experience in Microsoft Web stack (MVC, C#, VB.net, razor, IIS, ASP.net, WCF/Web services, Web API, SOAP, XML).
• Experience in Data Architecture and Database System Design.
• Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
• Experience in CI/CD
