Underground Boilermaker (TMM) at Barberton Mines

Description

• Rebuilding TMMs to agreed standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Accurate measuring, marking, cutting, and bending of Steel plates.
• Fabricating frame parts from complex Engineering Drawings.
• Joining Fabricated Frame Parts utilizing High-Quality welds.
• Comply with Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
• Cost containment
• Effective self-management and alignment with Barberton Mines values

Requirements

• N3 or Grade 12 Certificate.
• Appropriate trade Certificate
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a qualified artisan.
• Fabrication Experience (Mobile Equipment Rebuilding & Fabrication)
• Comprehend Engineering Drawings for Manufacturing
• Must be willing to work overtime when required.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Communicate with people on different levels.
• Valid Certificate of fitness
• Driver’s license
