Unit Administrative Assistant - Stock

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To deliver optimal support towards processes and procedures in the nursing unit
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Perform administrative duties
- Assist with patient administration related functions
- Control pharmaceutical stock
- Deliver a reception service
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 (with computer literacy subjects or an additional computer literacy certificate)
- DESIRED EDUCATION: Reception / Secretarial /Personal Assistant / Administration training
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Administrative experience in a healthcare setting

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Recordkeeping
- Patient administration system
- Compliment and complaints management
- Data capturing
- Telephone etiquette
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Stock control processes
