Minimum Requirements    

• Recent graduate with a BVSc. Veterinarian Degree
• South African Citizen
• Own trustworthy transportation
• Passion for animal welfare, particularly in poultry
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Assisting with health assessments, administering vaccinations, monitoring and treating diseases
• Conducting routine examinations, providing nutritional advice
• Collaborating with veterinarians to ensure the overall well-being of the poultry flocks
• Assisting with implementing biosecurity measures
• Educating/training farm employees on best practices for poultry health
• Record-keeping
