    Videographer

    Job Description

    • Produce high-quality video that brings the Pedros Group’s food, brands and customer experiences to life. Take approved briefs from shoot planning through filming and editing to finished assets for campaigns, social media, digital advertising and other brand channels. The role reports to the Content Manager and works closely with the Content Creator, creative studio and brand teams across all four brands.
    • Strong video editing skills and expert colour grading are essential. Own camera operation, lighting, sound and post-production, collaborating with the Content Creator on complementary cellphone and behind-the-scenes content. The Content Manager sets priorities and gives final approval.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Concept development and shoot planning

    • Translate briefs into visual treatments, storyboards and shot lists. Contribute ideas that reflect each brand’s audience, personality and campaign objectives.
    • Plan equipment, locations, products, props and shoot schedules with the Content Manager and relevant teams. Prepare for different formats and capture needs before filming.

    Filming and production

    • Film food and product features, brand stories, store openings, activations, interviews and social videos using suitable cameras, lenses and stabilisation equipment.
    • Set and control lighting, exposure, focus, white balance, composition and camera movement. Capture sufficient cutaways and alternative shots for editing.
    • Record clear dialogue and location sound using suitable microphones and monitored levels. Clean up and mix dialogue, music and sound effects for balanced, intelligible audio without distortion.
    • Make food look appetising while representing products and portions accurately. Guide contributors on camera and coordinate shoots with store teams to minimise disruption.

    Creative collaboration

    • Work alongside the Content Creator on shared concepts and productions, coordinating camera footage with mobile capture. Collaborate with designers on graphics and brand assets.

Video editing and expert colour grading

    • Independently edit compelling videos with strong openings, clear storytelling and effective pacing. Complete audio clean-up and mixing, captions and basic motion graphics.
    • Deliver expert colour correction and grading, using scopes, colour management and selective adjustments. Match shots and cameras, develop consistent brand looks, and preserve natural skin tones and accurate, appetising food colours.
    • Produce platform-specific versions in vertical, square and landscape formats. Apply appropriate framing, safe areas, duration, resolution and export settings for each placement.
    • Check picture and sound quality, spelling, branding and product accuracy. Submit edits to the Content Manager, manage revisions and deliver approved files to agreed deadlines.

    Equipment and asset management

    • Prepare, maintain and safely handle production equipment. Monitor batteries, storage and accessories, and report faults or additional production requirements promptly.
    • Back up footage and maintain organised project files, clear naming and version control. Follow approval processes for filming permissions, contributor consent, music and asset usage.

    Requirements:

    • At least 5 years’ relevant videography and editing experience. A strong showreel must demonstrate personal filming, editing and expert colour grading, including before-and-after grading examples.
    • Strong editing proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent, plus expert colour grading ability in DaVinci Resolve or equivalent. Practical camera, lighting and sound skills are essential.
    • Ability to take a brief through planning, shooting and editing to polished final delivery. Food, restaurant, retail or lifestyle production experience is advantageous.
    • A relevant qualification in film, video production, multimedia or a related field is advantageous. Demonstrated practical ability and quality of work are essential.
    • Must have an own vehicle and a valid driving licence and be willing to use the vehicle for travel to and from shoots, including transporting production equipment safely.
