L&AF Wage Clerk (Ashton, WC) - This position is responsible for the processing of LAF payroll documentation iro appointments, terminations, wage rate adjustments and time & attendance input. The position is also responsible for generating reports iro leave, overtime and costing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Offer support to the Payroll Coordinator by auditing the SACO daily, weekly, monthly submissions before payroll closure
Process relevant documents timely and accurately, according to policies and procedures.
Ensure a successful time-evaluation run for LAF employees to facilitate successful updates, deductions, and payments.
Compile and draw relevant time & attendance reports; identify deviations and inform the respective Line Managers.
Perform internal time & attendance audits on overtime, unpaid leave, late arrivals, etc.
Provide team members and supervisors with assistance as and when required within area of competence.
Respond to Departmental requests for individual timekeeping reports; provide detailed documentation to Departments regarding necessary corrections.
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years experience in a salary and wage office environment
