Warehouse Picker and Packer - Ekurhuleni (East Rand) at Unique Personnel

Job Description    
Key Responsibilities

• Receiving: Contribute to quality control processes and ensuring quantities and items are in good condition with the correct quantities delivered from the suppliers.
• Dispatching of goods – Identify correct items when picking and dispatching stock for internal and external customers, including inter branch transfers.
• Fulfill orders by packing and preparing all shipments.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse by binning stock items correctly and maintaining bin locations daily.
• Weekly perpetual stock counts, with quarterly and or yearly stock takes.
• Daily housekeeping and filing

Experience and Qualifications

• Must have Matric.
• Minimum 2-years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service and parts counter sales.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and MS outlook.

Skills & Competencies

• Parts identification and technical knowledge will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Active listening skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Good time management.
• Good written and verbal business communication skills.
• Valid forklift license will be favourable.
• Great attention to detail.
• Warehouse stacking and storing experience.
• Highly organised and systematic.
