Our client, a well-established and prestigious financial services provider, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wealth Advisor Administrator to join their dynamic Financial Advisory team.
This graduate-level role is an exceptional springboard for someone looking to build a career in wealth management. In this position, you will work closely with Wealth Advisors and paraplanners, providing crucial administrative support and engaging directly with clients to ensure a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support & Liaison: Actively support Wealth Advisors in acquiring, retaining, and maintaining valuable client relationships. Follow up promptly on client servicing requests.
System & Data Management: Update and scan client information using internal systems (Dynamics and Elite). Obtain Astute downloads and request updated client investment and policy statements.
Transaction Processing: Submit all new business applications. Process ongoing servicing requests, including top-up payments, withdrawals, redemptions, and Section 14 & 37 transfers.
Meeting & Sales Preparation: Assemble comprehensive meeting packs for client reviews. Compile requested quotes, fact sheets, and assist with policy and balance sheet preparation.
Provider Collaboration: Support the sales and record-maintenance interactions between various product providers, their consultants, and the wealth advisors.
Office Administration: Help with general office functions and ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Education: A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Investment Management, or a related field.
Experience: Matric certificate accompanied by 1–2 years of experience in client relationship management.
Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of common office software (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), alongside a good understanding of managing client data.
Core Competencies: Strong numeric competency, strict attention to detail, and sound written and verbal communication skills.
Work Ethic: High levels of accountability, responsibility, and trust. You must be adaptable, able to multitask, and thrive under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn the specialized legal, compliance, and systems demands unique to the financial planning business.
