About the job

We're looking for a skilled, creative and knowledgeable web designer and developer to join our marketing team to help update and maintain our various corporate websites.

You will be tasked with managing website updates, SEO, content creation and website CMS updates/troubleshooting.

This means that there will be very little hand-holding when it comes to performing tasks, from simple WordPress updates to template creation. You will need to draw on your various skills to produce the quality work our marketing department strives for.

The Right Candidate:

• Would have a firm grasp of CSS, Responsive Design, HTML and PHP. The ability to work with PHP files and understand their related error messages while fixing any reported issues.

• Having worked with WordPress and all its admin panel areas from page creation, theme creation, installation and customization, to SEO and caching.

• Our preferred candidate should have a natural eye for design.

• An inherent understanding of colours, their effect on navigation and viewers emotions.

• How negative space affects the viewer's experience.

• How various design styles work together and being able to weed out those that clash.
