Web Developer (Mid-Sen) at Potentiam Limited

Duties & responsibilities

• Design & develop dynamic web applications and new online innovations, either individually or as part of a team on large projects.
• Maintain existing online applications and services.
• Develop internal systems and processes.
• Assist the helpdesk in resolving code-related end-user issues.
• Work with our client service team to create feature specifications & investigate issue reports.

Background & Experience

• The successful candidate will be an efficient and organised team player with a logical and hardworking approach. The ability to communicate with people with various levels of technical proficiency at a mid-senior level is important. A degree qualification or equivalent would be beneficial but is not essential.

Skills

• Skills & Experience – essential 3-4+ years’ experience with Javascript
• Min 2 years experience in writing SQL Queries
• Min 3 years Experience in Database Table Layout and Design
• Experience in HTML and CSS3

Skills & Experience – advantageousExperience using Elastic Search

• Experience in Typescript
• Experience in Node.Js
• Experience in PHP
• Experience fixing Browser compatibility issues
• Experience in using Linux command line
• Experience in GIT / Version Control Best Practice / Merch Conflict handling
