Job Description:
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Deliver excellent customer service, at all times.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation at the Guesthouse.
• Maintain the stocking levels of all consumables.
• Report any maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor, including all furniture, fittings and equipment.
• Reset lighting to the current standards.
• Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting lamp shades.
• Store all used and clean laundry in line with company policy and complete the required documentation.
• Fulfil all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
• Report any security issues to the supervisor.
• Always adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Be involved and contribute at team meetings.
• Carry out instructions given by the management team.
• Execution of all allocated tasks aligned to the approved schedule.
• 80% work planned, scheduled and well-resourced ahead of execution.
• Changing tasks and equipment settings within standards to minimize the effect of unexpected problems.
• Stopping the tasks if the working conditions are unsafe.
• Usage of tools and machinery.
• Time duration for task completion.
• Meet the key task measures.
• Assisting Chefs in preparation of meals
• Housekeeping Tasks

Qualifications:

• Matric

Experience:

• 1- 3 years relevant experience
• Technical knowledge(experience) required for role: Housekeeping and Catering
• Previous experience in similar industry advantageous
