Main Focus Areas
- The Billings Clerk will be responsible to provide an accurate collation of patient documents to enable final billing.
Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)
- Ensure that relevant items are charged according to the charge sheet ,and box codes are allocated to individual items.
- Data capturing and reconciling of all the theatre charge sheets.
- Ordering and billing of stock and DBO items.
- Assist during bi-annual and annual stock takes.
- Assist with stock transfer.
- Assist with cycle counts.
- Printing of interim patient statements.
- Ensure that consignment stock is billed.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)
- Grade 12
- Previous work experience in a hospital environment is essential.
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP system.
- Working shifts to reach deadlines.
