    SPH Credit Controller

    Main Focus Areas

    • The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the achievement of customer collection targets, essential to the profitability of the Hospital. They would also be responsible for effectively managing overdue accounts.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Collaborate professional with strong communication skill
    • Facilitate positive cash flow and ensure strict and timeous follow up on outstanding claims
    • Ensure that credit terms are adhered to at all times, with specific reference to private admissions
    • Minimise the erosion of profits attributed to slow paying accounts and bad debts
    • Maintain consistent systems and procedure for the management of accounts receivable
    • To make sure that medical aid and patient accounts are paid within the SLA time frame.
    • To ensure that targets and deadlines are met
    • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks
    • Prepare Journal entries related to credit control
    • Accurate reception

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
    • SAP Knowledge will be advantageous
    • 3 Years credit control experience in a Medical / Private Hospital environment

    Facilities Manager

    Main Focus Areas

    • Responsible for the management of the hospital’s entire facilities which includes all building and plant & equipment ​
    • Ensure compliance to statutory maintenance, OSH Act and R158 ​
    • Management of asset management system, staff, budget, and projects​
    • Support the strategic objectives of the hospital’s business plan through optimal management of facilities management and hospital engineering. ​

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Management all buildings and plant & equipment. ​
    • Management, training, and development of staff.​
    • Manage the asset management system i.e., asset register, asset verification, scheduled inspections & preventative maintenance, and repairs.​
    • Manage expenditure in line with approved budgets, Capex and Opex. ​
    • Environmental management​
    • Management of contractors. ​
    • Stakeholder engagement i.e., communicate at all levels which includes Doctors, Patients, and Managers within the hospital. ​
    • Administration – accurate record keeping, and compilation of stats related to the Facilities Management. ​
    • Management of internal projects. ​
    • Competent Person appointment (GMR2)​
    • Soft services management (Security, catering and sanitation)​

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Minimum of a National Diploma (N5 or S4) (Electrical heavy current or Mechanical)​
    • N5 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Diploma is preferable)​
    • Proven Microsoft Office proficiency ​
    • Computerised management system experience​
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in people management. ​
    • Relevant experience related to Facilities Management ​
    • Management of construction projects i.e., planning, budgeting, executing, and commissioning.

    Night Supervisor

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Night Supervisor will be responsible for the Clinical Nursing Management of the hospital at night. This includes the co-ordination of all functions and activities related to the provision, promotion and assurance of clinical patient care, via the leadership of a multidisciplinary team in consultation with all relevant stakeholders

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Manage the allocated nursing budget at night​
    • Understand the financial fundamentals of the health care industry​

    • Minimum of 2 years Nursing Management experience​
    • Midwifery experience is advantageous​
    • Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislations​

    Wilmed Park Billings Clerk

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Billings Clerk will be responsible to provide an accurate collation of patient documents to enable final billing.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Ensure that relevant items are charged according to the charge sheet ,and box codes are allocated to individual items.​
    • Data capturing and reconciling of all the theatre charge sheets.​
    • Ordering and billing of stock and DBO items.​

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies and will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs.

    Billings Audit Clerk Billings

    Main Focus Areas

The Billings Audit Clerk will be responsible for ensuring the collation of received patient files from Billings and ensure accurate billing and patient information in capture correctly.

    • Check that the confirmation and the statements have the same account nr and patient details
    • Check the discharge date and times are correct
    • Check the surgical forms against the statement to make sure all stock used are billed and that the quantities are correct
    • Send the file back to the Unit Managers if there are medicine/credit mistakes made
    • Send file to pharmacy if credits are not done or any other medicine queries need to be done
    • Answering telephones and dealing with telephonic queries
    • Check case manager files for payments

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4
    • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role or auditing.
    • Advanced Computer Literacy • SAP Experience (beneficial)

    Case Manager Case Management

    Main Focus Areas

The successful candidate will be accountable for the full patient care cycle and is expected to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate actions required to meet the client’s health and human services needed.

    • Accurate and timeous communication and follow up with medical aids.
    • Effective communication with other role players in the healthcare team.
    • Provide appropriate clinical information to Medical Aids in order to update LOS/LOC
    • Effective and timeous communication with the member of the fund when  appropriate.
    • Application of clinical knowledge for effective ICD 10 and CPT coding of patient   records.

    • Daily visits to all medical aid patients.
    • Control costs – Effectively Manage Fixed Fee Cases.

    RHHC Pharmacist Assistant- Post Basic Qualified

    Main Focus Areas

    • To provide a pharmaceutical service to the Hospital and outpatients. The incumbent will also assume responsibility for meeting patients’ needs in a responsible, satisfactory and cost-effective manner.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Ordering: Ordering of ethical (at least 4 times per day) and some surgical stock (as required) from approved supplier.
    • Emergency cupboard: Replenish emergency stock daily and inform nursing department of any deviances. Comprehensive audit to be done as per schedule, twice a month.
    • Issuing to wards: Assist with the dispensing of medication to wards as per ward’s stock order. Taking into cognizance risk factors, allergies and drug interactions.
