Job Description

• A Mining house based in the North West is looking for an experienced Winding Engine Driver.

Duties:

• Communicating any winding engine defects to the relevant supervisor or manager.
• Coordinating winding activities in line with total process requirements.
• Compiling accurate shift reports.
• Escalating any abnormal operational problems to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Responding to standard hauling signals.
• Assisting during breakdowns or emergency situations.
• Assisting engineering employees with the maintenance of equipment in the winder area.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least 3yrs experience as a Winding Engine Driver
• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualifications
  Winding Engine Driver Certificate of Competency
• Certification for double drum and friction winder duties - advantageous
