Winding Engine Driver X3 at Gold One Group Limited

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualifications
• Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
• Completed recognised Winding Engine Driver certificate as issued by the DMRE.
• At least 5 years’ experience as a qualified Koepe Winding Engine Driver on AC and
• DC machines or Banksman / Onsetter within the mining environment with incline shaft experience
• Must have operated a Winder in the past 2 years.
• Good motor skills (hand, eye, and foot coordination)
• South African Citizenship
• Clear Criminal Record

Responsibilities

•  Adhere to safe work procedures.
•  Compliance with company standards and regulations i.e., PPE
•  Reporting of all incidents and/or near incidents
•  Participation in SHE-related campaigns and initiatives
•  Conduct induction for team members related to SHE aspects prior to commencing work.
•  Adhere to working schedules, including overtime, and standby.
•  Adherence to regulations and special instructions (site specific)
•  Identification and reporting of non-compliance incidents.
•  Appropriate signals usage
•  Participation and assistance during machinery audits
•  Completion of relevant documentation
•  Reporting abnormal incidents to the Shaft Foreman
•  Adherence to document control standards and procedures
•  Provisioning of date and information
•  Safekeeping of documentation
•  Conduct all work according to required standards and specifications.
•  Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto: “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
