Introduction

• We are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Intern for an 18-month Fixed term contract to provide analysis and insights on initiatives and projects to deliver the expected outcomes and benefits. The role will be based at our Distribution Centre in Montague Gardens.

• To provide analysis on the viability and implementation of supply chain and commercial initiatives to improve supply chain KPI's.
• To support the implementation of approved projects in line with standard project and chain management methodolgy within the agreed time, cost and quality to optimise the supply chain.
• To support the development and training of new business processes and standard operating procedures to enusre new methods of work are clearly understood, implemented and practised.
• To contribute to supply chain and commercial project planning to ensure alignment with supply chain business goals and objectives.
• To collaborate with IT on system and reporting changes to ensure system efficiency and benefits for users.

Minimum requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• N6 Certificate in Supply Chain or Logistics
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) (Essential)
• Proficiency on e-mail

Applicants should meet these requirements:

• Completed N6 Certificate in Supply Chain or Logistics
• Unemployed and can commit 12months to the programme
• South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 29 years
