YouTube Specialist/Channel Manager
- Job Type Remote
- Qualification Bachelors , Higher National Certificate
- Experience 3 - 5 years
- Location Western Cape
- City Cape Town
- Job Field Media Production and Entertainment
The ideal candidate for this role has:
- 5+ years experience of managing YouTube channels
- Experience or strong understanding of crypto
- Previous experience in sales of products, services or affiliate programs
- Copywriting skills
- 3+ years of SEO experience
- YouTube content/presentation coaching skills
- Strong data analysis skills on YouTube
Roles and responsibilities:
- Managing the performance of content across all channels
- Frequent optimization of content (title, description and thumbnail changes)
- Utilisation of YouTube data for optimising video assets (title, description, thumbnail)
- Creating short-form content (YouTube Shorts) alongside the editor
- SEO for each video
- Creating optimised sales descriptions based on each show
- Work alongside designers to conceptualise new thumbnails
- Upload schedule management (alongside team)
