    Senior Store Clerk Supply Chain Management (Roodeplaat)

    Description

    • Inventory management.
    • Receiving of orders from suppliers.
    • Packing of store item properly on shelfs.
    • Distribution of orders to end -users/business units.
    • Issuing of store items to end -users/business units.
    • Creation of purchase requisition for store replenishment.
    • Conduct Monthly Inventory count.
    • Ensure inventory discrepancies are justified & recorded for audit purpose.
    • Processing of invoices received from suppliers/service providers.
    • Follow-up on outstanding Purchase orders/Invoices with suppliers.
    • Receive of deliveries and distribution of orders.
    • Attend monthly account meetings.
    • Keep a proper record management system.
    • Attend to all queries related to warehouse management.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma or Degree in Logistics/Supply chain/Purchasing/ Procurement.
    • A minimum of 1 year’ experience in warehouse management.
    • Knowledge of PFMA and Inventory management.
    • Communication skills, including written and verbal.
    • Customer service Orientation.
    • Computer literacy with solid knowledge of MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
    • A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.

    Buyer Supply Chain Management (Roodeplaat)

    Description

    • Processing of transactions in line with the National Treasury Act and ARC policies and procedures.
    • Review of specification and advise end users/business unit.
    • Processing of purchase requisitions by issuing of request for quotation (RFQ) to suppliers.
    • Keep RFQ register up to date.
    • Evaluation of quotations together with end-user/business unit.
    • Prepare score sheets and evaluation reports.
    • Present evaluation report to the Institute Bid adjudication Committee (IBAC).
    • Issuing of orders to suppliers for deliveries.
    • Follow up on open orders.
    • Provide feedback to business unit on Purchase requisition and order status.
    • Ensure proper record keeping.
    • Attend on all queries related to SCM.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree/B Com/National Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SCM) specifically in Sourcing, Supply Management or Purchasing Management.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the Supply chain management or similar environment.
    • Knowledge, experience and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
    • Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) and related legislation.
    • Demonstrate understanding of communication between end users, SCM, Finance and service providers and importance of providing feedback on progress.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in the MS Office suite.
    • Exposure to SAGE system.
    • Good analytical skills, report writing and organisational skills.

    Dalrrd Junior ICT Technician (Three (3) Years Fixed Term Contract) (Roodeplaat)

    Description

    • Installation and maintenance of ICT hardware, software and network equipment.
    • Installing, upgrading and providing user support on software.
    • Setting, Maintaining and monitoring security of the network and applications.
    • Consult with Senior Systems Administrator/ICT Service Delivery Manager or CO Engineers where required to ensure information systems operate effectively.
    • Performing backups in line with DRP, BCP and Backup and Restoration policies.
    • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to End Users as per ITSM call log system.
    • Managing relationships with End Users and Management in absence of a Senior Systems Administrator.
    • Ensuring effective delivery of ICT Strategy initiatives and projects.
    • Maintain hardware and software asset register as well as the hardware leasing register and ensuring effective lifecycle planning processes.
    • Taking part in management through reporting to the internal Institute ICT Committee and report monthly to the ICT Service Delivery Manager in absence of a Senior Systems Administrator.
    • Manage the telephone system environment, including creation deletion and changing of telephone extensions and the creation and deletion of PIN codes for external dialling.
    • Distribution of detailed telephone reports from Telephone Management System.
    • Manage the printing environment, including the creation and deletion of printing codes/user accounts.
    • Assist SCM through consultation with the acquisition of ICT related Services and equipment requested by the institute.
    • Manage and/or assist with corporate projects such as hardware refresh (Desktop/Laptop/Servers) or new service deployment, or current system expansions.

    Requirements

    • National Diploma in IT or related profession.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an ICT Support function.
    • Microsoft certification will be an advantage.
    • ITIL certification will be an advantage.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Communication and planning skills.
