Essential duties and responsibilities

Consumer campaign execution

• Engage with and acccurately capture all leads, ensuring consumer database quality and completeness is maintained for each contact. 
• Reach out to assigned leads within the specified time frame, gently suggesting the products or services that best fit their needs and exploring opportunities for cross-selling or upselling. 
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with community contacts, ensuring exceptional care and support is provided, and assisting with enrollment to Coloplast where applicable. 
• Pack, dispatch, and record all sample parcels as required. 
• Stay up to date with campaign and product training materal.

Consumer Care Program

• Connect with consumers enrolled in the Care Program, providing comprehensive support through both inbound and outbound communication channels.
• Assist with product and routine advice, early identification of complance issues or complications, as well as booking nurse consultations and follow-ups. 
• Establish and maintain consumer relationships for a lifetime dialogue. Retain existing consumers through excellent support and high satisfaction levels.
• Meet predefined KPIs with regards to quality of care and consumer engagement volumes.

Consumer queries/Complaints

• Efficiently handle consumer product complaints through detailed investigations, compassionate support, and prompt resolutions.
• Answer emails timeously to ensure that queries are responded to within SLA.

General Duties 

• Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and consumer-centric communication with customers.
• Stay up to date with and comply with all SOPs and talk tracks and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Ad hoc Consumer service-related projects which come about from time to time.

Stoma Nurse:  

• Coloplast has an opportunity for a Stoma Care Nurse to join our South African nursing team.  
• As a registered nurse, this individual provides clinical expertise in pre- and post-operative services and the day-to-day management of ostomates.

Major Areas of Accountability

• Represent Coloplast as a Clinical Expert
• Maintain professional credentials and education to maintain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse.
• Act as a clinical liaison to ostomates with regards to planned surgical procedure, impact of living with a stoma and ostomy care. 
• Support in-hospital stoma clinics in collaboration with hospital employed staff.
• Set up new support centres for end users.
• Deliver education to a diverse group of internal and external customers as well as end users.
• Attend approved national and regional conferences and tradeshows as a Coloplast representative.
• Report back to senior leadership key clinical learnings and opportunities.

Essential Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree/diploma in nursing 
• 1+ years’ experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
• Previous medical industry experience an asset
• National and domestic travel required 
• Must permanently reside in the Johannesburg region 
• Drivers license 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Effective written and presentation skills
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret clinical publications
• Proven success with organization and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to tailor training and education in order to serve many audiences
• High attention to clinical outcome and follow-through
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to support internal and external customers as well as end users.
• Must be self-driven with the ability to work independently
