    Commercial Superintendent

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing and executing sourcing strategies to deliver commercial outcomes.
    • Ensuring effective contracts administration to minimise cost and time over runs including risk mitigation.
    • Coordinating Tender, Tender Evaluation, Clarification, Negotiation, Adjudication & Recommendation processes.
    • Supporting operational continuous improvement and business optimisation initiatives.
    • Facilitating the implementation of effective and efficient commercial practices to ensure successful procurement, repair and delivery of all contracted goods including monitoring supplier performance with KPI’s and periodical meetings.
    • Identifying data trends and market insights that will inform and improve contractor management processes.
    • Reviewing potential suppliers, coordinating site visits to evaluate supplier capabilities.
    • Collaborating with cross functional teams to address operational challenges.
    • Maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
    • Ensuring adherence to Legislation, Policies, Procedures, Standards and Operating Procedures in areas of responsibility.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification.

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial/supply chain management.
    • Enterprise Resource Planning System (SAP/COUPA) experience.
    • Commercial Principles and Standards, knowledge and experience.
    • Mining experience will be advantageous.

    Engineering Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervising and managing maintenance, breakdowns and repairs on machines and equipment.
    • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring that production targets are met safely and cost effectively.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Either a N4 Certificate with Engineering Subjects, Valid Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic) and a minimum of 5 Years’ experience as an Artisan; OR
    • A relevant Tertiary Qualification and completed Graduate Development Programme.
    • Driver’s license Code EB (08).

    Quantity Surveyor

    Key Responsibilities

    • Compiling costs for scopes of work for various project-related contracts as well as carry out trade-off investigations.
    • Compiling Bill of Quantities for inter alia, bulk earthworks, civil services, piling, concrete, building and structural steelwork.
    • Compiling full commercial tender documents.
    • Evaluating and adjudicating tenders and draft approval and contract documentation.
    • Doing monthly progress measurements and payments and final close out measurements and payments for contractors.
    • Completing month end reporting, forecasting and cost analysis of contracts.
    • Adhering to sound internal and project controls, systems, company policies and procedures.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
    • Registration with the South African Council for Quantity Surveying.

    Minimum Experience:

    • 3-5 Years’ experience on site construction with regards to estimating, project planning, Bills of Quantities, tender requirements, pricing, contract escalation and calculations and contract management.
    • MS Office proficiency.
    • Mining projects industry experience will be advantageous.

    Responsible Sourcing Specialist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implementing responsible sourcing through supply chain due diligence on new and existing suppliers, including human rights, modern slavery, and environmental perspectives.
    • Managing the Know Your Counterparty (KYC) process for new and existing vendors and the reporting of all KYC.
    • Compiling and analysing mandatory supplier documentation, such as transaction forms and questionnaires.
    • Internal and external stakeholder training on all vendor management requirements.
    • Producing regular reports on all key KPIs on the full vendor management life cycle.
    • Working with and assisting the supply team on vendor management projects and enquiries.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A relevant degree (Finance/Procurement/Supply Chain).

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain (responsible sourcing, supply chain due diligence, compliance, KYC and Vendor management and compliance).
