    Business Analyst: Commercial (Finance)

    Job Description

    • We areseeking an analytical individual with a background in BI/Business Analysis, a passion for ERP/Reporting systems, and expertise as a Syspro super user to join our Commercial team as a Business Analyst (Finance). This position is based in Pretoria West (office based) and reports to the Commercial Manager.
    • The role’s purpose is to serve as the business support advisor and Super User for the Syspro ERP and Reporting environment within the Baking Business Unit.     Minimum Requirements

    • Partner with the learning team and super users to deliver and, when necessary, conduct training sessions for end users on both existing and new ERP functionalities.

    System Functionality:

    Channel Executive: Exports

    • N4 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering plus trade test 
    • Minimum 5-10 years production line or FMCG maintenance experience
    • PLC/VSD Drives experience.  
    • Knowledge in mixers, dividers, proofers and conveyor systems, oven burners and bakery equipment 
    • Ability to communicate on all levels. 
    • Ability to work systematically.
    • Ability to prioritize workload.
    • Report writing and analysis.
    • Maintenance systems like 5 why, fishbones, etc
    • Mentoring apprentices.
    • Must be able to work shifts and be available on callouts and standby if required. 

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the machines do not deteriorate. 
    • Inspect drives, motors, belts, bearings, replace filters and perform other maintenance actions following checklists. Be able to comply with Food safety standards, and previous FMCG experience will be an advantage.
    • Assemble, install and / or repair, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment on steam and waterlines.
    • Ensure that your department complies with all Health and Safety requirements. 
    • Record maintenance and repair work performed and report to the line manager of your findings.

    • Accurate completion of administrative forms.
    • Lead by example with the team of assistants as per shift requirement.
    • Ensure statutory inspections relevant to you are kept up to date.

    Diesel Mechanic - Asizakhe Depot

    Job Description

    • RCL Foods is seeking a Diesel Mechanic  to join our division based in Asizakhe Depot.
    • The purpose the role is to carry out maintenance & preventive service in accordance to the maintenance schedule plan and breakdowns and attend to afterhours breakdowns on local delivery fleet. Responsible for maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; Ensure job cards are completed, and records are kept. Ensure health safety regulations are adhered to.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Valid Driver’s License, C1, PDP
    • N3 National Certificate as Diesel Mechanic
    • 4-5 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic in a workshop environment.
    • With at least one year in a supervisory role 
    • Experience with Toyota and Isuzu Trucks

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    Fleet Maintenance

    • Execute the preventative maintenance schedule as per manufacturer specs.
    • Perform delivery vehicle breakdown services as required by manufacturers specs.
    • Attend to after hour vehicle breakdowns.
    • Perform auto electrician repairs.
    • Prepare vehicles for annual Certificate of Fitness (COF)
    • Ensure all mechanical tasks are completed according to the job card specifications
    • Ensure cost effective utilization of parts (new & used)
    • Assess services rendered by external suppliers are of high quality within the agreed scope of work
    • Analyse fleet fuel consumption figures & take corrective action measures

    People Management

    • Ensure team availability to allocated task
    • Accurate and timeous recording of team’s time sheets
    • Ensure good working relations between staff
    • Manage performance of mechanical assistant and address issues
    • Adhere to and enforce company disciplinary code

    KPI'S 

    • Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
    • Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures.
    • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies,        sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
    •  Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
    •  Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
    •  Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
    •  Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
    • Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options.
    • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications.
    • Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Adhere to Health and safety regulations as stipulated by company Policies.
