    Materials Planner - FMCG

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and optimize inventory levels using demand forecasting and material requirements planning
    • Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and logistics to align material availability with production schedules
    • Analyze and report on stock levels, lead times, and material usage to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
    • Implement strategies for inventory control to minimize waste and excess stock
    • Continuously optimize processes and systems within the Material Planning function for efficiency
    • Perform regular review of Material Master Data in ERP systems to ensure accuracy
    • Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving and crisis management related to material shortages or excesses
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
    • Assist in training and development of team members in materials planning best practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning within the FMCG industry
    • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management
    • Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

    Industrial Engineer - Johannesburg

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyse existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process upgrades
    • Prepare detailed reports on production performance and operational efficiency
    • Design and optimize layouts to maximize workflow and minimize waste
    • Train and mentor staff on new protocols and best practices
    • Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to budget constraints

    Requirements

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
