Industrial Engineer - Johannesburg at RPO Recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process upgrades
• Prepare detailed reports on production performance and operational efficiency
• Design and optimize layouts to maximize workflow and minimize waste
• Train and mentor staff on new protocols and best practices
• Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to budget constraints
• Play a key role in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing practices
• Conduct regular assessments of production equipment and processes
• Support the development of production standards and quality control measures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing/logistics environment
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making
• Proficiency in process mapping and Lean methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering simulation software
