    Director – Production Operations (EMEA)

    Purpose of Role:

    • Lead and optimise our Make & Maintain function across EMEA, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role oversees all production and manufacturing operations, process engineering, maintenance, and capital projects across the region, ensuring throughput is accurate, efficient, and on time.
    • You’ll champion cost efficiency, quality, and customer experience while maintaining facilities for maximum uptime and delivering improvement projects on schedule and within budget.
    • As a key member of our ISC Enable function, you’ll support supply chain integration and enablement, including performance management, compliance, ESG, risk management, and technology adoption.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead Manufacturing Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations across EMEA facilities,   ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, on-time products while driving throughput and continuous improvement.
    • Maintain Operational Reliability: Implement preventative and corrective maintenance strategies to maximise uptime, minimise disruption, and safeguard equipment effectiveness across manufacturing, assembly, and logistics.
    • Optimise Processes & Capital Projects: Direct regional process engineering and capital investment plans, including equipment selection, facility design, and project delivery on time and within budget.
    • Build & Harmonise Teams and Standards: Develop and mentor a high-performing regional team, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and standardise processes to align with divisional best practices and governance frameworks.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations or Business Administration (or equivalent qualification). 
    • 15+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations, including senior leadership roles
    • Preferred: 5+ years working with SAP/ERP systems and manufacturing/maintenance planning tools. 
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance, and process engineering.
    • Demonstrated leadership and team management capability at a senior level.

    Specialist: Product

    Purpose of Role: 

    • The Product Specialist will be responsible for technical proposals and client interaction, so far as required as to translate into the sale of valves and system products.
    • Deep knowledge of the industry, its clients and the timing of projects will be required. The successful individual will be comfortable going to the site and supporting on a regional level as well.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferable – Chemical / Metallurgical / Mechanical
    • Computer Literate – Advanced MS Office Suite, ERP Software , In-house selection software
    • Member of a professional organization
    • Valid driver’s license
    • 6 years of experience in a mining/manufacturing environment
    • Thorough knowledge of the valve ranges
    • Equipment selection, customer-facing and industry-related experience

    Technical Business Analyst

    Purpose of Role:

    • Supports the Weir business by developing and delivering a common integration platform to support the Weir division in simplifying the technology landscape and building reusable API assets.
    • Working as a member of the Integration Platform team within Information Systems & Technology, the team and this role support the needs of the many business groups across Weir and will be pivotal in advancing our data integration agenda.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Understand and Define Business Needs: Engage stakeholders to uncover integration requirements, analyse current operations and workflows, perform gap analyses, and document end-to-end conceptual data integration flows.
    • Champion Strategic Integration Capabilities: Advocate for scalable, future-ready solutions aligned with business strategy; translate needs into future-state processes; collaborate with architects and IT; and provide feedback to enhance platform delivery.
    • Support Solution Design and Delivery: Drive execution through Agile practices, manage requirements via Agile Place, document system data flows, write and present user stories, and participate across the full product development lifecycle.
    • Strengthen Communication, Compliance, and Change Management: Liaise between business and technical teams, contribute to enterprise strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct testing, manage change requests, and continuously optimise integration solutions.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Education & Core Experience: University degree with 5+ years of experience across at least three areas such as business analysis, business change, governance/audit, data integration (APIs), or enterprise architecture. Strong background in supporting technical solution delivery within data integration environments.
    • Analytical & Organisational Exposure: Hands-on experience with business analysis tools and methodologies, ideally within complex, highly federated organisations. Proven ability to work internationally and across cultures, with proactive communication and engagement at all organisational levels.
    • Technical Expertise: Skilled in data engineering, integrations, analytics, and governance. Familiarity with modern data integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft), ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday), and design thinking methodologies. Strong knowledge of structured analysis, solution design, and integration concepts.
    • Strategic Thinking & Communication: Excellent communication and customer engagement skills. Ability to develop original concepts and theories, with exposure to emerging technologies and modelling approaches. Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

    Boilermaker

    Purpose of Role:

    • To perform boilermaker work in the foundry as well as machine shop.  This will involve welding, assembling, constructing, maintaining and fabrication of all types of steel structures/brackets etc.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble, install, and repair all types of steel equipment using welding, fitting, and cutting techniques.
    • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction and repairs.
    • Perform routine maintenance, clean components, and upgrade existing equipment to improve performance or meet new standards.
    • Operate specialized equipment such as welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, cranes and heavy machinery for lifting and rigging.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • Qualified Artisan.
    • Three to five years of experience working as a Boilermaker.
