Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Producers in achieving milk quota
- Manage delivery agreements of milk producers according to the regulations and CIL statute
- Manage individual supply contracts as per Supply Contract content
- Build relationships with Producers
Evaluate and provide input in relation to new milk sources
- Gain information about opposition activities
- Determine the location of strategic potential producers
- Locate high-potential areas to develop
- Responsible for proper communication with the milk producers (e.g. written and verbal)
Compile the annual Producer Services budget
- Assist Milk Procurement Logistics with the proper and cost-effective execution of milk collection
Manage the quality of raw milk
- Manage bacterial count; somatic cell count; butterfat; protein
- Check for inhibitors, added water, and any other illegal substance like Melamine
Implement and audit Best Farming Practices at the farm level
- Improve density of milk by sourcing and developing raw milk in the correct areas
- Advise milk producers regarding their dairy enterprise
