    Group Tax Accountant

    • As a Group Tax Accountant you’ll be supporting the delivery of group’s tax consolidation and reporting activities, overseeing the delivery of tax compliance across the group, actively support a wide range of tax initiatives including transfer pricing, tax audits, internal tax projects and OECD pillar two compliance processes.
    • This exciting and challenging position will help us excel as it involves extensive collaboration with various functions and stakeholders across the business to address tax-related matters for the group. This will help us to stay ahead of the game!

    What you’ll be doing

    As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

    • Prepare and review the consolidated group’s tax provisions, effective tax rate calculations, including corporate income and deferred tax computations and associated tax schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements – and ensure accurate reporting in the books for all assigned group entities
    • Prepare the group memorandum on uncertain tax positions
    • Prepare group tax journals and relevant group tax reconciliations to general ledger for both direct and indirect tax positions
    • Oversee the group’s tax compliance framework ensuring that robust processes are in place to strengthen tax compliance
    • Provide actionable inputs for enhancing the group tax reporting and tax compliance processes
    • Manage tax related audit processes (internal, external – statutory and tax authority) including the collection and provision of information to tax auditors
    • Maintain the group’s tax matrices and tax project trackers leveraging relevant internal structures
    • Review tax-related disclosures in the financial statements, including consistency of related party transactions disclosures
    • Prepare and review related party transactions for transfer pricing documentation and disclosure purposes
    • Provide proactive tax related assistance on various tax projects and tax administration matters
    • Assist with subsidiary tax calculations and reviews
    • Provide tax training to relevant internal teams to address identified knowledge gaps

    Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

    • The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
    • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
    • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
    • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
    • Qualified Chartered Accountant
    • Good understanding of the gaming industry will be a considerable added advantage
    • Minimum of 7 years tax and accounting experience in or across highly complex, growth organizations across multiple jurisdictions
    • Excellent working knowledge of tax accounting standards and international tax principles
    • Strong reconciliation, planning and analytical skills
    • Successful working independently and as a member of a team in a high-pressure environment
    • Resilient with proven ability to work across multiple functional teams
    • Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex matters including taking rational decision on tax issues
    • Desire and ability to contribute to the continuous development and success of the team
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong sense of urgency with a positive impact on delivery
    • Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
    • It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
    • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
    • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
    • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
    • Post graduate tax qualification
    • 5+ years tax accounting and advisory experience at a major firm or international company

    • As a Software Engineer you’ll be supporting the delivery of [i.e. a high-quality service within the corporate secretariat function. The Software Developer will form a vital part of a team of Developers who are responsible for creating cutting-edge software that supports critical business processes. This candidate will report to the Lead Software Engineer.

    What you’ll be doing

    Primary Duties

    • Develop cutting-edge software using the latest development tools and frameworks.
    • Unit-test all software artifacts.
    • Maintain current systems (web/other) and develop new systems (web/other) using the latest technologies.
    • Collaborate with Product Owners and Test Analysts in developing, testing and deploying systems components.
    • Research and develop new technologies.
    • Provide second/third line support to IT for software deployed into company eco system.
    • Analyse and resolve complex and high impact production issues where required.
    • Monitor systems performance and ensure all SLAs are met.
    • Assist technical writers with technical documentation and user manuals related

    Support to Team

    • Transfer of business and technical knowledge to the greater team.
    • Technical guidance and mentoring of developers.
    • Support to Technical Lead and Software Development Manager
    • Assist in enforcing Agile and Scrum methodology in the teams.
    • Assist in code reviews.
    • Assist in coordinating Pair Programming.
    • Assist in implementation of best practices, coding standards and relevant methodologies.

    Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

    The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

    • A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on development experience.
    • Computer Science related degree, diploma or similar qualification.
    • Experience in working with agile teams and successfully delivering agile based software projects.
    • Proven experience in working with Azure or AWS, C# - .Net Core, NodeJS, ReactJs / Nextjs.
    • Expertise in responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and web performance.
    • Be prepared to work in a 24/7 environment.
    • Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack/Gulp.
    • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS.
    • Willing to research, learn and apply new technologies and languages.
    • Knowledge of OO, development methodologies and patterns.
    • Available to be on standby.
