    Civil Engineer

    Job Purpose

    • The Civil Engineer is responsible for developing and delivering civil engineering design outputs for multidisciplinary projects across study and detailed design phases. The role focuses on defining engineering design intent, preparing technical deliverables, and coordinating with civil drafters to ensure practical and buildable solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Delivery

    • Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for earthworks, roads, drainage, utilities, and site development
    • Prepare engineering calculations, reports, technical specifications, and design criteria
    • Define design intent and provide clear inputs to Civil Drafters
    • Contribute to quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and Engineering Work Packages (EWPs)

    Coordination

    • Coordinate with Civil Drafters and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery
    • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
    • Assist in defining scope, deliverables, and priorities

    Quality & Delivery

    • Review and check models and drawings for alignment with engineering intent
    • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety-in-design principles
    • Deliver work within agreed scope, schedule, and budget
    • Provide support during construction, including technical queries
    • Accountable for technical quality and completeness of civil design outputs.

    Performance Expectations

    • Clear, practical engineering design intent
    • Strong alignment between calculations, models, and drawings
    • Effective multidisciplinary coordination
    • Reliable delivery within project requirements

    Qualifications & Experience

    Essential

    • Degree in Civil Engineering
    • 5–10 years’ civil design experience
    • Experience in earthworks, drainage, roads, and site infrastructure
    • Familiarity with Civil 3D workflows
    • Understanding of applicable codes and standards

    Preferred

    • Professional registration (or working toward)
    • EPCM / multidisciplinary project experience
    • Exposure to BIM / digital delivery

    Civil Drafter

    Job Purpose

    • The Civil Drafter is responsible for developing civil 3D models and associated drawings to support engineering design delivery. The role focuses on independently building and coordinating models for site development works based on defined engineering inputs, across both study and detailed design phases.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technical Delivery

    • Develop and manage Civil 3D models for site grading, earthworks, access and internal road networks, and stormwater and drainage systems
    • Prepare layouts, details, and drawing packages based on engineering inputs
    • Develop models and drawings for both study and detailed design phases
    • Undertake quantity extraction and support model-based deliverables
    • Undertakes modelling and drafting activities based on defined engineering inputs, without ownership of engineering design

    Coordination

    • Work closely with Civil Engineers to interpret and implement design intent
    • Coordinate models and drawings with other disciplines
    • Participate in model coordination and clash resolution processes

    Quality & Standards

    • Ensure models and drawings comply with project and company standards
    • Perform checks on models and drawings prior to issue
    • Maintain consistency between models, drawings, and engineering inputs
    • Manage files within common data environments

    Performance Expectations

    • High-quality, buildable Civil 3D models and coordinated drawings
    • Strong alignment with engineering inputs
    • Ability to work independently on defined scopes
    • Consistent delivery within project timelines

    Qualifications & Experience

    Essential

    • Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent

    Project Information Manager

    Position Summary

    • The Project Information Manager (PIM) is responsible for the strategies, processes, systems, and governance that support the planning, production, management, and delivery of project information throughout the entire engagement lifecycle.
    • Reporting to the Engagement Manager, the PIM develops and implements digital execution strategies, information production and delivery workflows, and technology solutions that ensure all project information is produced, integrated, and consolidated to meet project and client requirements.
    • The role serves as a key liaison between project delivery teams, Information Technology, clients, and external stakeholders to drive effective digital project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities
    Information Management Leadership

    • Manage the Information Management (IM) function at the engagement level.
    • Develop and implement digital execution strategies and information delivery processes.
    • Coordinate information production for documents, data, and models.
    • Manage information delivery planning aligned with project milestones and deliverables.
    • Oversee systems planning, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and support.
    • Coordinate project information archiving and client handover requirements.
    • Lead and manage Information Management resources, systems, and budgets.
    • Promote collaboration, consistency, and best practices in digital project delivery.

    Pursuit and Proposal Support

    • Assess client and stakeholder information requirements during tender and proposal stages.
    • Develop Information Management tender documentation, IM Plans, and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) where required.
    • Identify project systems, technology, and resource requirements.
    • Contribute to proposal schedules, estimates, risk assessments, and mobilization plans.
    • Ensure compliance with Hatch Information Management standards and procedures.

    Project Planning and Setup

    • Identify and document project information requirements and Level of Definition (LOD).
    • Develop and maintain numbering systems, federation strategies, and information management plans.
    • Coordinate project system setup, configuration, testing, deployment, and user onboarding.
    • Implement Information Management organizational structures and resource plans.
    • Establish information delivery plans (TIDP/MIDP) and reporting processes.
    • Coordinate standards, templates, quality procedures, and information exchange specifications across project functions.
    • Support procurement and implementation of project-specific hardware, software, communication systems, and services.

    Execution and Project Controls

    • Manage project systems access, permissions, and governance.
    • Monitor project systems performance and resolve system-related issues.
    • Conduct audits and system reviews.
    • Support site Information Management, Project Automation Technology (PAT), and ICT requirements.
    • Manage Information Management budgets, schedules, resources, and change management processes.

    Project Closeout

    • Coordinate project information model handovers and milestone data deliveries.
    • Manage archiving and transfer of project information to clients and stakeholders.
    • Coordinate demobilization and decommissioning of project-specific systems and licenses.
    • Prepare handover reports and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications
    Required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

    Experience
    Essential

    • Minimum 10 years' experience in Project Information Management.
    • Experience within EPCM, Engineering, Design-Build, or Capital Project delivery environments.
