Responsibilities

• Develop quality software and web applications
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Discover and fix programming bugs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• 1-4 years’ experience in configuring, development of Enterprise Software
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as Angular 8+, Typescript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API's.
• Strong capability for backend development in C# .NET and MSSQL including .NET core, Entity Framework and T-SQL
• Strong pattern knowledge – MVVM / MVC, Dependency Injection etc.
• Strong grasp of security principles
• Exposure to various forms of testing – Unit testing, integration testing etc.
• Knowledge of FinTech software products
• Knowledge of Atomic design principals
• Other technologies: SWIFT, EFT, RTC
• Computer, Server and Network skills

The client is based in SA as well as the Netherlands and is hoping to open operations in the US as well. They were founded in 2015 and has already become a very well-known name within the software industry. They are software engineers at their core and looking for talented senior Angular developers to join their team in Centurion and more specifically SA. You will be involved in developing exciting web-based and cloud-based applications. This role is not just for any average Joe, you will play a very important role in shaping the development team.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BSC Degree in Computer Science or BIS in Multimedia
• Angular Certifications
• 5+ years Front-end / web development experience
• 5+ years working on the Angular 2+ framework
• MUST have Angular 9 experience
• Strong expertise with HTML5, CSS3, and writing cross-browser responsive/compatible code
• Additional frameworks/languages would be beneficial – NodeJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, J2EE
• Understanding/ having worked within MVC patterns and practices
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and Swagger
• Object Orientated Design
• Worked within an Agile / SCRUM SDLC
• Understanding of Linux OS and associated web server technologies (Apache)
• MySQL / Progress / Mongo
• Source code management (GitHub)
• Passion for product design and UX
