    Business Solutions Analyst - Houghton

    Description

    Define business requirements and solutions

    • Effectively cross-collaborate with multiple stakeholders to define current and future state of business processes, identifying issues, and risks, suggesting mitigation strategies and driving towards sustainable solutions.
    • Own and drive end-to-end solutions throughout Operations.
    • Work closely with the key stakeholders to gather customer requirements, translate them into clear requirements documents, write compelling business cases and proposals, and then implement those approved and prioritized by the Operations Steering Committee and Project Portfolio Board to deliver cost-effective solutions.
    • Collaborate with all of Operations’ partners to find alternatives and solutions to business challenges.
    • Identify, understand, negotiate and document business requirements with various groups.

    Description

    Provide efficient and accurate HR administration to one’s centre

    Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating the personnel record system manual and electronic (HRIS) for record and audit purposes by updating records accordingly and filing documentation as per legislative and company requirements and information

    Track and monitor the registration of personnel on the medical aid and the administration for completeness of all applications. Follow up on all queries through to resolution

    Administer and provide information for the following in accordance with company and legislative standard including

    • Audit pay rules in conjunction with employment contract and escalate discrepancies
    • Adhere to Kronos deadlines for sign-off on timecards
    • Enroll new employees on the Kronos system

    Engage with Lines of Authority (HOD’s, CPO’s, Line Managers)

    • Regular meetings with Line and Shop Stewards to accomplish alignment from an HR and Business point of view

    Planning and Forecasting Manager - Houghton

    Description

    Responsible for the effective forecasting and planning of the collaborative ATM supply chain, at strategic, tactical, and operational levels.

    • Develop, communicate, and recommend ATM supply chain strategies and long-term capacity plans in compliance with by risk considerations, resource constraints, service level agreement, business development commitments and financial prudence. Continuously reviewing and updating planning standards.
    • Responsible for a wide range of planning horizons, ranging from short-term (the forecasting of daily ATM cash payouts and the planning of ATM replenishments), to long-term strategic capacity planning
    • Accountable for all planning platforms, enabling planning covering inventory, operations, and capacity planning.
    • Identify exceptions where supply does not meet demand and create plans to address exceptions to close the gap.
    • Identify and recommend the most feasible plan by consulting all the stakeholders involved.
    • Develop, communicate, and drive a Contingency Plan for BCM.
    • Obtain data from multiple sources for inclusion in the calculation of stock targets e.g. forecast accurately, production cycle times and order lead times.
    • Calculate and interpret cycle and pipeline inventory to facilitate decision making.
    • Responsible to ensure that the cash volumes are forecasted and planned accurately to meet demand.
    • Optimize cash, including availability levels by using cash modelling tools regularly, reviewing inputs and outputs from the models to ensure appropriate inventory as according to the inventory limit and associated policies and procedures.
    • Identify bottlenecks on Supply Chain Planning including key suppliers, and recommend proposals to resolve them at optimal cost
    • Review of monthly reports on the ATM cash supply chain. Where available; interrogate and trend ATM cost of funds and logistics costs.
    • Where available; identify, evaluate, and report on the Cash in Transit (CIT) routes that are practically relevant to the ATM supply chain.
    • Assist Planners to resolve gaps between the plan and the production schedule by assessing the impact of available options on the supply chain e.g. incur additional costs through overtime, temporary labour etc.
    • Effectively manage the cash in ATM’s by delivering cost effective plans whilst simultaneously ensuring that there are no service failures.

    Understanding of IT related aspects with regards to systems

    • Display a thorough knowledge of planning logic in the various systems to thoroughly vet and engage with ICT in the design and creation of a fully integrated Planning system.
    • Implement measures to ensure all planning systems meet the required uptime to support the business.
    • Verify that all master data is kept current in the planning systems.

    Create and maintain the infrastructure for accurate and comprehensive execution, reporting and analysis on Supply Chain Planning

    • Define, develop, and maintain metrics to measure the cost of quality for Planning.
    • Create the infrastructure (systems, manpower, frequency, etc.) to provide Senior Management with visibility on Planning for SA
    • Assist with implementation and maintenance of ERP system.
    • Develop statistical and analytical tools to drive deeper reserve trend understanding as well as improving forecast accuracy going forward.
    • Conduct trend analysis on Cash volumes focusing on inbound and outbound logistics
    • Analyse the demand statistics to forecast accurately.

    • A post graduate specialisation relevant to supply chain management. (Advantageous)
