    SHE Intern

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Completed qualification in Safety/Occupational Health/Environmental Management or Science 

    Purpose of the Role

    • Role is intended to develop the trainee and help him/her gain hands-on experience in the sphere of SHE.  The intern will also provide administrative support to the SHE department.
       

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in updating all SHE procedures as required.
    • Communicates changes to the procedures and safety information by attending meetings and updating Safety notice boards.
    • Communicates changes to the procedures and quality information by attending meetings and updating quality notice boards.
    • Assist training facilitator with arranging and planning safety training for SHE team.
    • Collates SHE statistics and results as required.
    • Work with Coordinators to drive audit plans and corrective action implementation e.g. hygiene, first aid box, housekeeping etc.
    • Take minutes and maintain trackers for all activities to drive SHE plans.
    • Select 2 key projects to develop own SHE skill and improve SHE within Unilever
    • Conduct Contractors SHE Induction
    • PPE Issuing, Ordering and stock control.

    Engineering Storeman

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

    • Manage engineering stores across ordering, receiving, counting, safeguarding, issuing and disposal of stock items within the store and engineering department. Ensure that all non-Packaging and Ingredients stock requirements are met. Implement, manage and improve on the stores systems. Manage supplier relationships, account status’, order management, Goods Received Notes, order queries and assist the broader site team.

    JOB SUMMARY

    • Ensure the ordering, receiving, issuing and disposal of stores stock is undertaken in accordance with procedures at all times.
    • Ensure correct and timely capturing of delivery notes and invoices.
    • Process all new stock take-on and ensure that bins are allocated for new stock items.
    • Always Establish and manage systems to monitor the stock and inventory in the store including current stock levels.
    • Ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are always maintained.
    • Initiate the ordering of replacement stock when minimum stock levels have been reached.
    • Ensure that inventory is organised to facilitate accessibility and safety for the store.
    • Plan and manage regular stock take to ensure reconciliation between records and actuals.
    • Continuously improve processes to increase stores efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Prepare and provide monthly inventory reports as deemed required by Management.
    • Provide a full report on all stock outs on a weekly basis and control the cost of stores inventory.
    • Monitor where the inventory is being issued to and how much each department is spending.
    • Always Enforce health and safety rules
    • Always Manage the systems for safeguarding the stock in the stores by ensuring that there are adequate security systems in place.
    • Update and communicate key performance indicators, best practices as well as current performance to the store team and key parties.
    • Raise orders for the engineering team and source non-stock items required.
    • Manage open order report and provide commentary and improvements.
    • Ensure that all accounts with key suppliers are up to date and maintain supplier relationships.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric with Mathematics
    • Diploma or Certificate in Warehouse Management (one year) or Supply Chain Management
    • 1-3 years relevant experience in a stores or warehouse environment
    • Relevant SAP experience
    • Proficient in MS Excel

    In Service Trainee - Quality

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Complete all learnership requirements as stipulated by Unilever, including but not limited to training attendance, assessments completion, project completion, logbook completion and presentations as needed.
    • Carry out general manufacturing line operations, packing, cleaning, and quality checks.
    • Follow SOP procedures as needed within the operation assigned to
    • Conform to all site rules governing safety of self and others, quality, and code of business principles.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 with 50% pass mark for Core Mathematics & Physical Science
    • Completing a National Diploma in Analytical Chem or Biochem/ Microbiology OR Food Technology - requiring P1/P2 work experience
    • Familiar with laboratory environment, procedures and practices
    • Use of computer software programs – Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is essential
    • Good communication skills both written and verbal – proficient in English

    Demand Operation Lead

    Main Job Purpose:

    • The main objective of this role is end to end accountability of planning
    • Promo input with CG > TTS R.O.I. > AI Forecasting tool > Shaping of forecast > Execution of forecast   

    Key Accountabilities:

    Forecast shape for long term

    • Create the shape of a FY FC based on sales out trends, MACRO influences, promotional grid and innovations.
    • Use AI forecasting tools to create baselines & promo FC to be shaped
    • Build relationships with key steak holders to garner inputs

    Forecast execution for short term:

    • Lock a quarter view and deliver in terms of value & volume
    • Increase foecast accuracy & bias in the short term
    • Create solutions to TO gaps

    Promotional management:

    • Co-create a promo FC through delivering through others (CG team / L2 planners)
    • Understand ROI on promotions and levers to pull to improve business health

    Key Additional/adhoc responsibilities

    • Standard reports: EVAs, Sales out
    • Understand Anaplan & Kinaxis – cleaning demand books, creating scenarios
    • Innovation planning
    • Demand/Supply reviews
    • Masterdata activities

    Professional Skills & Standards of Leadership

    ESSENTIAL

    • Future fit planning skills is an advantage (Curiosity and Agility; Impact through technology)
    • A good understanding of, and the use of EXCEL is essential
    • Planning and functional business process knowledge
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders to achieve results

    Experience Required:

    ESSENTIAL

    • 1-3 Years exposure to broad based Supply Chain management.
    • Understand S&OP process & cadence
    • Experience in managing external parties.
    • Experience working and interacting with all levels in a business.
