    Diabetes Business Consultant

    • The Diabetes Business Consultant will drive growth and reach sales targets within the diabetes care division by successfully supporting the diabetes sales team. Will be required to implement processes and tactics that help drive the strategic sales plan, that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its continued market growth.

    Sales

    Customer Care

    • Manage customer relationships actively and directly to ensure an in-depth understanding of customer needs
    • Ensure that communication lines and plans are designed to address the specific needs of customers
    • Drive appropriate service delivery, taking service challenges and policies into account
    • Actively monitor and measure results and product quality against identified objectives while consistently striving to exceed expectations
    • Facilitate the entire sales transaction with clients
    • Delegate client queries to the CTS team. 

    Sales Administration

    • Ensure reporting of all clientele, projects and retainers are in place and communicated to the sales assistant

    Junior Operations Controller

    • The Junior Operations Controller serves as a strategic financial partner for the Southern Africa Area. You will be responsible for the end-to-end consolidation of monthly Flash reporting, quarterly Variance Analysis, and Efficiency reporting. This role bridges the gap between raw data and actionable insight - facilitating the annual Target and quarterly Rolling Forecast processes while overseeing the internal investment decision framework. You will act as a primary liaison between various stakeholders to ensure data integrity, simplify reporting interfaces, and track key performance indicators (Actual vs. Target).

    Main Accountabilities

    Financial Reporting & Consolidation

    • Complete monthly and quarterly reporting tasks for the AMEI Cluster Operations Control team (Flash, Sales reporting, Sales Variance analysis, Operating income variance analysis, Target and Rolling Forecast {Including commentary}).

    Validate data integrity across ERP systems

    • Ensure accurate consolidation of supplementary data including Headcount, Margin by Product, Transportation KPIs, etc.
    • Perform deep-dive Variance Analysis and regular cost-stack evaluations to identify financial risks or operational inefficiencies.

    Business Partnering & Investment Control

    • Lead the compilation of Investment Decision Requests (CAPEX), assisting in the approval, allocation, and tracking process.
    • Organize and chair Investment Tracking Meetings with operations teams to ensure timely project implementation and capitalization.
    • Participate in and lead monthly P&L review meetings with Organizational Directors, providing context to the numbers. These meetings will entail:

    Detailed cost reviews

    • Ensuring consistency in cost allocations
    • Understanding the impact of operational performance on the P&L
    • Linking performance KPIs (Sales ratios, Transport KPIs, etc) to the achieved result during the month
    • Assist in the preparation of high-level Board presentations and executive summaries.

    Project Management & Continuous Improvement

    • Act as a key finance member for new customer implementations and business development projects.
    • Drive "Continuous Improvement" initiatives by automating reporting tasks and simplifying data interfaces. Utilization of Power BI
    • Prioritize resources to ensure the achievement of departmental and cluster-wide strategic programs.

    Experience

    • 1-3 years General Industrial Gas experience
    • Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job
    • Microsoft Power BI (creating dashboards and data modeling) and advanced Excel.
    • Systems: Experience with Tier 1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and Google Workspace.
    • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS, P&L structures, and the relationship between operational levers and financial performance indicators.

    Reliability Expert

    • As our Reliability Expert, you will be the essential driver of Operational Excellence for our Primary Production, Bulk, and Onsites activities across the dynamic Africa, Middle East & India cluster. You will apply your deep reliability expertise to support site performance and will be directly responsible for driving key Reliability programs, including the implementation of effective "close the loop" methodologies. Success in this role hinges on your ability to collaborate seamlessly with Facility Managers, site-based teams, and fellow experts across Maintenance, Asset, and Technology within Cluster Operations to ensure optimal reliability and continuous improvement.

    Asset Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies, Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization, and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques.
    • Manage and improve the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) for critical assets.
    • Oversee the Asset Criticality Analysis to focus resources on the most important equipment.

    Failure Analysis & Mitigation:

    •  Lead and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for significant equipment failures to identify and eliminate systemic issues.
    •  Set and Report smart reliability key performance indicators with Industrial performance monitoring team
    • Implement Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) during design and operational phases.
    • Capitalize on events to feed the reliability flash process and close the loop
    • Conduct regular RCA audits, capitalize with sharing improvement opportunities with entities
    • Track RCA actions and follow up on status and closure, facilitate follow up to accelerate compliance    

    Capital Project Support:

    • Participate in the design and commissioning of new equipment and systems to ensure maintainability and reliability are built-in (e.g., specifying reliable components, conducting Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis).
    • Ensure adherence to reliability standards, codes, and best practices.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams on reliability issues.
    • Conduct Bad Actor program analysis and develop corrective action plans.
    • Create Reliability Posters and communicate with all entities for Reliability or programs awareness

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent).
    • 5+ Years of experience in PRM
    • Industrial Experience (Operations or Maintenance Management)

    Technical experience:

    • In-depth knowledge of RCM, FMEA, RCA, LCC, and Weibull analysis.
    •  Proficiency in various PdM technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermal imaging, lubrication analysis). 
    • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or process systems.
    • Overall 10 years of experience with 5 years in Reliability field
    • Mechanical or instrumentation background is a plus.

    Yes4Youth Millwright

    • Build, commission, install, operate & maintain standard solutions on customers' sites (examples : Packaged Gases, Bulk or On site, Hydrogen/Biogas stations).
    • Assisted Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and testing of motors, and production machines under guidance.
    • Installation & Assembly: Help assemble and align of machinery and pipe line
    • Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults by observing equipment and reviewing technical manuals.
    • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals to understand machine operation and pipe and instrument diagram( P&ID)

    Specific exposure task intense learning

    • Adherence to SANS 10142 and working knowledge of explosive environments.
    • Perform Maintenance and breakdown work on road tankers, Onsite installations  and Bulk Installation of an electrical and mechanical nature and assist at the Richards Bay site when required
    • Preventative and corrective maintenance relating to control panels, pump motors and instrumentation such as temperature controls and pressure transducers on road tankers, as well as IM site electrical equipment
    • Fault Finding on various types of equipment – especially pumps & Compressors.
    • Perform installation work (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical) on projects as and when required.
    • Refurbishment of pumps and related equipment at the workshop, including management of the spare parts.
    • Communicating problems/ irregularities to the manager 
    • Working additional hours and standby as & when required.  
    • Recording information and record keeping as required (job cards, record books etc.).
    • Adhere to the QA Procedures as laid out in the Quality Policy of Air Liquide & ISO 9001:2000 as well as additional IMS requirements.
    • Walkabouts – Periodic inspections of the tankers to have a proactive system to fix issues.
