    Time Management Lead Advisor

    • Our HR Services team provides accurate, compliant and timely payroll, benefits and time management support across BMW Group South Africa. In this role, you will act as the specialist contact for time management topics, supporting employees, TES contractor time inputs, HR teams, Time Administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable payroll and contractor payment-related processes.

    What awaits you?

    • You will process payroll activities with a strong focus on time management, ensuring business requirements and critical deadlines are consistently achieved
    • You will act as BMW South Africa's specialist Time Management expert, providing guidance and support to HR teams, Time Administrators and business stakeholders.
    • You will act as a specialist contact for HR systems, payroll and time management queries, including problem analysis and resolution.
    • You will validate and monitor Contractor Steering time management inputs to support accurate and timely TES contractor payment processing.
    • You will ensure contractor time data, attendance exceptions, shift-related inputs and payment-relevant information are processed in line with agreed timelines and governance requirements.
    • You will provide specialist support to Contractor Steering, Time Administrators and relevant stakeholders on time management queries and escalations.
    • You will monitor the accuracy and completeness of employee and TES contractor time data to reduce downstream payroll and payment errors.
    • You will support system changes by analysing requirements, raising JIRA stories, preparing documentation and following changes through to testing.
    • You will contribute to processing documentation, standardization, simplification and automation within the HR Operations environment.
    • You will provide guidance, training and knowledge-sharing support to Time Administrators and relevant stakeholders.
    • You will ensure compliance with BMW policies, internal controls and statutory requirements relating to time management and payroll processes.
    • You will conduct detailed time management analysis, investigate complex exceptions and support the resolution of payroll and contractor payment discrepancies.
    • You will represent HR Services in relevant working groups and cross-functional forums relating to time management and payroll processes.

    What should you bring along?

    • A relevant tertiary qualification.
    • At least 5 years’ SAP HR experience.
    • At least 5 years' experience in South African payroll and time management administration, including complex time evaluation and attendance processes.
    • A thorough understanding of shift models, working time patterns, absences, attendance exceptions and time-related payroll inputs.
    • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a problem-solving environment.
    • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of BMW HR processes, policies, instruments and systems.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to support stakeholders across HR Services, Contractor Steering, Time Administrators and service providers.
    • A proactive, organised and independent working style, with sound planning, coordination and problem-solving capability.

    Specialist: Finance

    • The Specialist: Finance is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant preparation, consolidation, and reporting of financial information for BMW Group South Africa. The role supports internal and external stakeholders by providing financial reporting and analysis in accordance with IFRS, BMW Group standards, and statutory requirements, enabling effective financial steering and decision‑making.

    What awaits you?

    • Prepare and report monthly/quarterly/annual Income Statement and Balance Sheet results to BMW AG.
    • Ensure compliance with IFRS, group accounting policies, and statutory reporting requirements.
    • Prepare and submit financial reporting to regulatory authorities (SARB, Statistics South Africa).
    • Prepare monthly management accounts and MBM reporting.
    • Prepare Board presentations for statutory meetings.
    • Coordinate reporting cycles for monthly close, forecast, budget, and long‑range planning.
    • Prepare statutory annual financial statements.
    • Responsible of BBBEE Reporting (statutory requirement).

    What should you bring along?

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).

    Specialist: Junior Electrical/Electronic Process Planner

    What awaits you?

    • Collect, validate, and align requirements for components in new product line and motor projects; ensure agreement of T-requirements with the Development Department and the process integrator for all assigned processes and systems.
    • Plan, optimize, and continuously improve commissioning and testing equipment and basic systems within the scope of responsibility; drive ongoing development of related plants, processes, and equipment.
    • Lead the Production Capability assessment (Cpk) and manage the handover to production (HN); ensure timely delivery of Cpk results and readiness for production ramp-up.
    • Guarantee on-time implementation and maintenance of process descriptions in the construction planning system (ZMD), including documentation for commissioning and testing equipment; oversee equipment availability and defect elimination within the process.
    • Develop, specify, plan, implement, and document plant engineering and associated test knowledge to ensure robust and efficient processes per project assignment; standardize, pilot, and implement system technology and integrate it into the involved plants as required by the project.
    • Plan, implement, and document the responsible test knowledge for current derivatives and new derivatives; support functional specialists and process integrators in defining, positioning, optimizing, and adapting test knowledge for derivatives and model-year measures; maintain assigned TVGs in alignment with Fachteam agreements.
    • Actively participate in Fachteam activities, including network tasks and front-end/back-end responsibilities as needed; ensure test knowledge adjustments for current derivatives, maintaining accuracy and commonality across locations.

    What should you bring along?

    • B.Eng Electrical/Electronic engineering or B.Tech Electronic engineering 
    • Strong IT-Knowledge/Background. 
    • 3-5 years experience in quality and project steering in teams.
    • 3-5 years experience in the motor industry.
    • Technical experience with BMW vehicles.
    • Electrical analysis, minimum 3 years.
    • Knowledge of E/E automotive board net architecture and ECUs. Programming abilities will be advantageous.
