    CSSD Assistant

    Summary

    • The CSSD Assistant is responsible for the execution of procedures and tasks to clean, prepare, pack, and sterilize unsterile instruments, linen, and consumables and to supply sterile requirements to Theatre and other Departments in the hospital

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • 2 - 5 Years working experience in same position

    Work Experience

    • Relevant experience in the CSSD is essential
    • Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry will be advantageous

    Knowledge

    • Fold and Pack linen in the correct manner for sterilization
    • Wash and care for instruments according to the correct procedure
    • Pack instrument sets and loose articles in the prescribed manner for sterilization
    • Ensure that all required instruments for procedures are sterile and ready for utilization

    Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary

    Summary

    • The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and functions under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse in accordance to hospital standards and policies. As a Professional Practitioner, the incumbent also is responsible for and is held accountable for his/her own acts and omissions. The Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary will be responsible for the assessment and care of the needs of patients and will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate programmes of care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients/report potential/ actual risks identified, ensure all stock is well controlled and managed

    Work Experience

    • +/- 3 Years working experience in same position

    Registered Nurse (Trained/Qualified)

    Summary

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies.     Work Experience

    Registered Nurse

    Summary

    Enrolled Nurse

    Summary

    • The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse and Unit Manager.

    Credit Controller

    Summary

    • A Credit Controller is primarily responsible for managing a company’s accounts receivable, meaning you track the money owed by customers, record payments received, identify overdue accounts, and actively follow up with customers to ensure timely payment collection, essentially acting as the primary point of contact for recovering outstanding debts owed to the business; the work often included basic bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

    Debt Collection Management:

    • Proactively manage overdue accounts, implementing effective debt recovery procedures and following up with clients as needed
    • Ensure invoices are matched against requisitions, purchased orders and goods received notes with reference to quantities, quality, description and price
    • Ensure requisitions, purchase orders and invoices are properly authorized and are in accordance with the appropriate levels of authority
    • Complete the debtors control sheet on a daily basis
    • Comply with the requirements of the quality management system

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Liaise with customers to ensure timely payments and build strong relations to facilitate ongoing business
    • Forward remittance advices to supplier after completion of payment run

    Financial Reporting:

    • Provide regular reports on receivables and overdue accounts to senior management
    • Timeous payment of invoices, ensuring discount claimed where applicable
    • Assist in preparation of cost/profit centre reports, by maintaining and providing analytical assist in the preparation of quarterly reports
    • Ensure invoices related to contracts agree to the contract
    • Ensure the correct GL account & vendor account is utilised when processing invoices in accounts payable module
    • Any ad-hoc duties which are assigned

    Pharmacist Assistant |Post-Basic Qualified

    Summary

    • The incumbent will assist the pharmacist in dispensing and to perform pharmacy related administrative duties

    Requirements

    • Qualified as Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant
    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • Registered as a post basic pharmacist assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council
    • Computer Literacy essential
    • Related house-keeping tasks
    • Supply of surgical ward stock
    • Assist in the control of stock kept in wards
    • Assist in cyclical counts and full stock take process
    • Assist in ethical and surgical stock ordering

    Work Experience

    • Two years’ experience in a similar position in a pharmacy

    Knowledge

    • Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
    • Aseptic compounding of mixtures according to GPP under supervision of the pharmacist
    • The dispensing of a prescription to in and out patients following the interpretation and evaluation of the prescription by a pharmacist
