    Analyst AML/CFT Supervision Department

    Purpose of the Job:

    • To supervise and/or enforce compliance with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, by the Financial Institutions categorized as accountable institutions and ensure that any referrals relating to AML/CFT matters received from the Financial Intelligence Centre are appropriately dealt with within the FSCA. The persons appointed to this position will report to the Manager: AML/CFT Supervision Department.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Monitor compliance with the FIC Act by the financial institutions;
    • Identify and report trends in the financial services sector with possible impact on the FSCA’s ability to discharge its duties as a Supervisory Body;
    • Conduct on-site and/or off-site inspections and other supervisory activities in terms of the FIC Act;
    • Assist with investigations of all complaints relating to financial institutions;
    • Actively participate in and contribute to industry and FSCA committees as and when required;
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in respect of regulatory and supervisory matters; and
    • Perform administrative or other supervisory activities relating to the regulatory framework.

    Other Key Competencies:

    • The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Problem analysis and solving, judgement, oral and written communication, information gathering; good interpersonal skills; the ability to work in a team; emotional intelligence; customer relations; persuasiveness skills and good computer skills. 

    Requirements

    • A Bachelors’ Degree (NQF 7) in Accounting, Audit, Law, Risk Management, or other relevant discipline with at least 2 years working experience within the financial services industry. The candidate must have a good knowledge and exposure to the financial sector laws, FIC Act and crypto assets. A good understanding of the FIC Act and the Financial Sector Regulation Act is essential. Excellent report writing skills are essential. Further qualifications/professional memberships such as ACAMS, post graduate qualifications in compliance, crypto asset related certifications and Money Laundering Certificate will be advantageous.

    Infrastructure Engineer ICT Operations Department

    Purpose of the Job:

    • Design, build, deploy, and maintain the IT infrastructure using available and latest technology. Ensure availability and optimal performance of all the IT systems that support businesses to function efficiently. The person appointed to this position will report to the Infrastructure Manager.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Identify, analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure problems affecting user’s ability to perform.
    • Manage ICT related datacenter infrastructures. (HQ, OPFA, Tribunal office and Disaster Recovery site)
    • Install, configure, maintain, support and upgrade server hardware, storage hardware, tape libraries and other hardware in the datacentre environment and any other current or future infrastructure.
    • Create scalable virtual machines, implement storage solutions, configuration of virtual networking, back up and share data, that connect to the Microsoft Azure and on-premises sites.
    • Manage and deploy patch levels on software and roll ups of all firmware on hardware.
    • Install, configure, maintain, support and upgrade of Microsoft server base operating system including Active Directory and other platforms such as Linux that is used in the production, non-production (development and user acceptance testing), testing lab and disaster recovery environments.
    • Install, configure, maintain, support and upgrade file management platform (File server), Microsoft OneDrive and any other platforms.
    • Install, configure, maintain, support and upgrade of all communications and collaborations solutions such as Microsoft Exchange server 2016/19 and online, Microsoft Teams collaboration and phones, audio visual platforms and any other platforms that might be introduced in the environment in future. The platforms are used in the production, non-production, and disaster recovery environments.
    • Manage Microsoft Azure subscriptions and tenant including Microsoft Office365, OneDrive, SharePoint online and any other products including network traffic, implement Microsoft Azure Active Directory, secure identities, and monitor the services and support physical and virtual environments including Azure tenants and Azure Stack hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) for best performance
    • Manage Commvault backup and archiving of systems and data.
    • Perform daily health checks on the production environments.
    • Configure, optimize, integrate, and automate alerts, events, management, and reporting tools for the management of the ITSM and monitoring services.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) documentation and low-level configuration.
    • Create remediation plans for all system deployment and modifications and document them.
    • Coordinates with other Information Technology areas to resolve problems.

    Other Key Competencies:

    • The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Exceptional applied knowledge to manage, maintain, support, and upgrade: Infrastructure hardware, systems (Microsoft Windows operating system, Linux, and other products), storage management, backup and archive, LAN and WAN network and telecommunication (VOIP), communication and collaboration platforms, Microsoft System Center, F5 Equipment, CommVault, Datacentre facilities, Disaster Recovery (DR) services. Familiar with cloud solutions, virtualization software, Remain up to date with latest industry trends. ability to articulate trends clearly and confidently, good interpersonal skills and communication across all levels, ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently, ability to comfortably work under pressure, keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and solid knowledge base.

    Requirements

    • A National Diploma in IT or Computer Systems or equivalent. A+ or N+ and MCSE or MCITP. Any other related course that could relate to VMWare (VCP), or Hyper-V. ITIL Foundation certification. Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining and supporting the infrastructure systems and data center environment. Expert applied knowledge to manage and support of Microsoft server base operating system including Active Directory, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft Exchange server 2016/19 and Exchange online environment.

    ICT Testing Analyst Project Management Office

    Purpose of the Job: 

    • To ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of ICT products and services by planning, executing, and governing testing activities across software, security, and infrastructure solutions. This includes supporting Agile and Waterfall delivery through structured test design, automation, and continuous improvement, while ensuring adherence to FSCA testing standards before deployment to production. The person appointed to this position will report to the ICT Testing Specialist.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Lead testing governance and ensure adherence to the FSCA Testing Framework across all projects. 
    • Analyse business, functional, and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. 
    • Execute end-to-end testing including manual, automated, regression, and API testing. 
    • Manage the defect lifecycle including identification, categorisation, prioritisation, and resolution tracking. 
    • Continually collaborate with team members, customers, service providers, and other managers to determine test cases, test schedules/plans, and communicate vital information to all stakeholders. 
    • Stay current with emerging QA, AI, automation, and DevOps best practices.

    • The candidate must demonstrate the following skills and attributes: The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills and root cause identification, good verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team member.     Requirements

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a three-year related Diploma with an Information Technology focus. The candidate must have 2 to 3 years’ experience in software testing within Waterfall/DevOps environment, specifically focused on the testing of applications, security, and infrastructure solutions, with ISTQB Foundation or Agile Tester certification being advantageous.
