    Laboratory Trainee

    Job Purpose
    As a Laboratory Trainee, you will perform testing for raw materials and/or finished product and/or Stability product testing according to material specifications robustness, and perform instrument verifications to ensure that instrumentation performance is in line with laboratory policies and procedures

    Essential Job Responsibilities

    • Media preparation, sterility testing and growth promotion. Tests compliance of media to specification.
    • Environmental monitoring performed throughout the factory to ensure for good manufacturing environments.
    • Microbial limit testing on products produced for their compliance to product specification.
    • Ensures that applicable SOPs are followed and required records are completed
    • Examines and test samples critically and ensures that results are recorded as per GLP requirements
    • Samples and tests utility (RO water and compressed air) for compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPS).
    • Ensures cleanliness of working and surrounding area.
    • Ensures that documentation is performed in the demarcated areas and that chemical analysis is performed on the workbenches.
    • Ensures that documentation (specifications, etc.) is protected from damage by chemical, water, etc.
    • Ensures preparation and storage of reagents as per SOPs.
    • Ensures that chemicals and supplies are ordered timeously.
    • Complies with EHS standards and guidelines and Site EHS SOPs.
    • Complies with SOPs with respect to safe use of chemicals/reagents, glassware, analytical procedures and the use of PPE.
    • Participates in, projects to continually improve processes.
    • Participates in Manufacturing Technology projects e.g. NIR.
    • Assists with the delivery of the financial GPS benefits.
    • Participates in “visual factory”, incorporating 5S
    • Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives (e.g. eLM or eDM)

    Why you?
    Basic Qualifications

    • Diploma/BSC degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology.
    • Completion of first 2 years of qualification in Microbiology (minimum) or equivalent
    • Testing in pharmaceutical laboratories is preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge and understanding of GMP, QMS, Cape Town SOPs and Processes, and Regulatory requirements.
    • Knowledge of QMS requirements and application required.
    • Independent thinking is required for organization and completion of responsibilities.

    eCommerce Shelf & Media Content Manager

    Job Purpose

    As an eCommerce Shelf and Media Content Manager, you will work primarily with the brand owners in the marketing teams in the local markets and the MEA BU team, with additional interfaces with the e-Key Account Managers (eKAMs) in the respective markets on media opportunities. As this role is based in the BU Digital Team, it will work very closely with the Branded Content manager as well as the other BU Marketing functions such as Media, Analytics & Strategic Portfolio Management.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop & drive the eCommerce channel content strategy & planning with local, regional & global teams representing MEA across key customers and accelerator projects.
    • Develop and co-create the eCommerce category growth story across local customers & markets in collaboration with market ComEx leads.
    • Deliver business planning inputs for local brand teams and regional category marketing teams to develop brand & category growth strategies.
    • Drive the co-creation of regional & local best practices for content on listings and eCommerce Media.
    • Complete oversight and ownership of the Digital Shelf Management tool across the MEA markets (wherever implemented). The role will also be responsible for transitioning and setting up the tool in partnership with external partners and local market support in additional markets as scope increases.
    • Mine the digital shelf management tool for opportunities to regularly improve FCP adoption by market & brand, improve content on SKU listings, and create a task-list for local markets to produce the necessary content to implement these opportunities.
    • Partner with Global and MEA function-leads to develop solutions that improve measurement and attribution including a focus on calculating Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV)
    • Develop A/B testing opportunities for eMix & listing content optimization, adopting heat-map analysis for user experience on-shelf, and activating the Google Manufacturer Centre setup across MEA markets

    Why you?

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 4-6 years of relevant experience working in a similar role preferably with an eCommerce Retailer or a global FMCG brand in the MEA region
    • Experience in content production & development through 3rd party agency partners
    • Experience of working in a matrix structure
    • Must have in-region experience in Turkey, South Africa, UAE and/or KSA to develop solutions that will enable for a multi-market response

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to influence peers/upwards
    • Clear capability in being able to distil digital commerce understanding into simple growth driving insights

    In this role you will…

    • Develop and execute route to market strategies by market
