OSA Distributor Manager at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK)

In this role you will…

• Develop and execute route to market strategies by market
• Grow our brands ahead of the categories we compete in by market
• Effectively manage product distribution and supply in markets, ensure adequate stoct norms, and merchandising of GSK brands in line with GSK guidelines
• Track, monitor and analyse distributor sales performance – distributor stock and stock in trade
• Develop market promotional plans to improve performance and close distribution gaps
• Track and monitor pricing in market
• Track, monitor and analyse distributor sales performance – distributor stock and stock in trade
• Develop market promotional plans to improve performance and close distribution gaps
• Track and monitor pricing in market
• Identify new business opportunities which will have a positive effect on the region and the company.
• Champion full compliance, ABAC, Code of Conduct adherence and a speak up culture in all markets
• As part of the Customer and Sales Leadershp Team, provide input into the overall leading of the Consumer Healthcare business in South & Southern Africa.

Why you? 

Qualifications & Skills: 

• A university degree.
• 7- 10 years Customer management/ Sales management/ Customer marketing experience with at least 4 of those in a senior position
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Numeracy and finance skills.
• Strong commercial understanding / experience
