    Reception Porter

    • Porter vacancy have become available at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital reporting to the Services Manager, Llewelyn Joorst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of uncompromising quality care.

    Critical Outputs

    EWP Telephone Clinicians

    • There are currently two vacancies for EWP Telephone Clinicians within Life Health Solutions Employee Wellness. 
    • One position is on a fixed term contract for a year, and one is for a 4-month fixed term contract.
    • The positions will be reporting to the EWP Team Leader. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing quality emotional consultations and counselling with employees telephonically. The roles will require referral management, and follow-up on referrals to the EWP Practitioner network and ensure services are in line with the clients’ service level benchmarks.

    Critical Outputs

    • Provide quality emotional phone counselling and consultation services to relevant stakeholders
    • Demonstrate appropriate consultation methodology that is efficient, customer focused and professional and in line with clinical protocols provided by Life Health Solutions
    • Link, and follow-up on face-to-face referrals to the EWP Practitioner network and ensure resolution with service level benchmarks
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of client companies’ Service Level Agreements as well as Life Health Solutions systems, policies and procedures
    • Consider appropriate care methodology when providing solution plans
    • Ensure that information is shared with respect to best practice standards of ethical behaviour and confidentiality
    • Managing any risks, contain employees, and ensuring appropriate care resolution
    • Demonstrate consistent and accurate recording of case data
    • Activate support for stakeholders requesting legal or financial wellness interventions
    • Activate support for stakeholders requesting health interventions
    • Undertake Manager/HR/Occupational Health consultations where needed

    Requirements

    • Clinical or counselling related qualification (Degree in Psychology / Social Work / Registered Counsellor)
    • 2 - 3 years of experience within the Employee Wellness clinical setting
    • Annual professional registration with the relevant statutory body (HPCSA; SACSSP)
    • Counselling proficiency in English and Afrikaans would be advantageous

    Registered Nurses | Qualified and Experienced ICU

    • Vacancies exist for Registered Nurses Specialised Qualified/Specialised experienced, ICU. The positions are based at based at Life Vincent Pallotti Hospital Name, reporting to the applicable Unit Manager. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing holistic and optimal quality nursing care to critically ill patients to maximize a positive outcome for the customer in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.

    Critical Outputs

    • Check equipment and instrumentation are in working condition on a daily basis and report any defaults to Unit Manager and Clinical Engineer

    Requirements

    Case Manager | General

    • A vacancy exists for a Case Manager – General based at the Life Faerie Glen, reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager.     Unit Manager | Trauma/Emergency

    • A vacancy exists for a Unit Manager for the Trauma/Emergency Unit based at Life Anncron Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating clinical practice and resources within the unit to achieve the company and hospital objectives of quality, growth and people.

    Critical Outputs
    Effective clinical leadership

    • Lead the implementation of the nursing care plan and co-ordinate and facilitate the delivery of the correct treatment plan within the correct MDT program in order to achieve clinical outcomes.
