    Roles and Responsibilities
    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Helping generate automated reports for campaigns.
    • Supporting with analytics templates that highlight campaign trends and performance insights.
    • Monitoring campaign performance under guidance.
    • Contributing to post-campaign reporting and analysis for internal learning and stakeholder feedback.

    Advertisement Operations:

    • Helping ensure correct materials (ad creatives, tags, metadata) are provided to relevant platforms or stakeholders.
    • Supporting quality checks and campaign implementation across ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager 360.

    Intern: Digital Media

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Archiving

    • Storing all media assets and deliverables in the Digital Asset Management System (DAM).
    • Cross-verify against the Broadcast Management System (BTS) and metadata documentation.
    • Archiving and supporting documentation and media content per prescribed standards.
    • Logging media on devices and ensure correct integration into the BTS/Rights Management System (RT).
    • Sourcing and archiving artwork in the Picture Libraries database.
    • Shelf reading for Tape Library on a regular basis.

    Content Media and Metadata

    • Sourcing metadata for accurate completion of metadata sheets for OTT platform
    • Procuring and ensuring delivery of artwork that meets specifications for all devices and placement thereof to the OTT platform

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Verification

    • Liaising with internal and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of cue sheets for all channels.
    • Verifying the completeness and accuracy of cue sheets against actual broadcast logs.
    • Cross-checking cue sheets with music reporting data to ensure consistency.
    • Following up on missing or inconsistent data with relevant parties.
    • Ensuring all music usage is properly categorised and logged for regulatory and rights compliance.

    Administration

    • Maintaining an organised and up-to-date filing system for all cue sheets, scripts, and related music usage documentation.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Writing Content

    • Ensuring bulletins are concise, accurate, contextual, relevant, engaging, conversational, and in line with the channel’s writing style.
    • Producing content for the live broadcast of eTV News at 8PM daily.
    • Writing stories in English to match visuals.
    • Editing visuals according to the story script.
    • Editing of bytes, interviews and overlay. 

    Researching 

    • Conducting research on programming topics daily.
    • Checking various sources including electronic media and social media for articles of interest.
    • Identifying current affairs, sports and breaking news stories through researching, sourcing, networking and studying other sources.
    • Ensuring that archives are checked for specified and appropriate visuals when required.

    Video Editing

    • Assist with the creation and updating of daily schedules using the Broadcast Management System (BMS).
    • Support the entry of programme titles, timings, episode details, and run orders under supervision.
    • Help verify that programme durations align with available time slots and break templates.

    Compliance Awareness

    • Learn about the BCCSA broadcasting regulations and internal compliance standards.
    • Assist in checking content metadata to ensure basic compliance criteria are met.

    Programming Rights & Contractual Awareness

    • Help track programme run counts and license expiry dates as part of the scheduling process.
    • Cross-reference basic rights data provided by the Programme Coordinator team when scheduling content.

    Schedule Updates & Change Tracking

    • Support the implementation of schedule updates in the BMS as instructed.

    Break Pattern Assistance

    • Assist in applying commercial break templates to scheduled programmes.

    Error Checking & Reporting

    • Report potential issues or misalignments to the Programme Scheduler for correction.

    Research 

    • Assisting Journalists in researching and pitching investigative story ideas on a continuous basis.
    • Researching stories and handling this over to the external producers by means of a pitch document, this will include relative research, supporting/proof documents and contact details.
