    Finance Manager Erasmuskloof, Pretoria

    KEY OUTPUTS

    • Control and effective management of the entire accounting function of the Group.
    • Monthly reconciliations between all IT systems and intercompany accounts.
    • Compiling/review of Management accounts (including consolidation) by agreed target dates.
    • Management of finance staff including recruiting, orienting, training, performance management and IR.
    • Maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
    • Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, generating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures (Hospitals administration and finance department).
    • Generate, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
    • Maintain and improve finance department software to improve efficiency.
    • Compiling/reviewing projection as per target dates.
    • Monitor cash flow of the Group.
    • Monthly presentation of the management accounts at Financial Exco meetings.

    • Manage general Bank related queries and new applications.

    • Preparation of entire group’s budget and measuring financial performance against budget.
    • The administration of Systems used in the Administration of the Group.
    • Liaison with the Service Providers, including, inter alia, Trifour Health; Medical Funders; DHA and MediKredit for claims related queries; reporting; technical system issues, changes or upgrades or any other difficulties that might arise.
    • The accurate review of Monthly Statistics (StatPacks) which includes monthly reconciliation items (between accounting and debtors system).
    • Monitor the cash inflow from Medical Aids and highlight any concerns to the CFO.
    • Assist with BBBEE Verification for Procurement.
    • Preparation of IFRS Compliant AFS.
    • Preparation and review of tax returns.
    • Review of statutory records and minutes.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • CA (SA) Qualification.
    • Minimum 2 years’ commercial experience in Financial Manager role.
    • Experience in Middle Management.
    • Experience in managing a team with more than 8 employees.
    • Healthcare experience will be advantageous.

    Payroll Administrator – Erasmuskloof, Pretoria

    KEY OUTPUTS

    • Weekly and monthly processing of salaries for permanent and temporary staff on Sage VIP Premier.
    • Calculate and deduct appropriate amounts from employees’ salaries, including provisions for tax on bonuses.
    • Paying employees correctly by electronic transfer to bank accounts by the contractual payment date.
    • Monthly reconciliation of leave.
    • Monthly reconciliation and payments of medical aid, pension fund, union and garnishee orders.
    • Annual reconciliation of PAYE, efiling and generating of IRP5’s.
    • Annual reconciliation of Return of Earnings to the Compensation Commissioner.
    • Annual compiling of leave provisions for auditors.

    • Collaborate with the Hospital Managers on staff appointments and resignations.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • Relevant Diploma/Degree will be advantageous.
    • Minimum 5 years experience with Sage VIP Premier.
    • Experience with ERS Biometric system.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office, intermediate to advanced MS Excel is essential.
    • Deadline oriented and the ability to work alone but also function within a bigger team.
    • Accountability for personal work outputs.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Maintaining of employee records according to legislation.
    • Good understanding of principles of Human Resource Management.

    Theatre Bookings Clerk – Midstream, Pretoria

    KEY OUTPUTS

    • Compilation and distribution of the daily theatre list to all relevant departments including Anaesthetic firms.
    • Allocation of time slots to regular supporting doctors.
    • Booking of theatre cases in line with approved block bookings, or on an ad hoc basis.
    • Obtaining theatre lists from supporting surgeon’s secretaries.
    • Avoidance of double bookings of both theatres and/or equipment.
    • Assist Hospital manager in arranging loan equipment or surgical representatives.
    • Arrange and provide Hospital quotations on request.
    • Assist with theatre billing process.
    • Responsible for orientation and supervision of staff where applicable.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
    • Previous experience as Theatre Bookings Clerk.
    • Knowledge of surgical products and theatre equipment.
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus.
    • High level effective planning and organisational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and with other team members.
    • Medical terminology knowledge.
    • Experience with scheduling and time management.
    • Demonstrate flexibility in accordance with the operational needs within the functional unit.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
    • Consistent ethical behaviour.
    • Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner and negotiate acceptable solutions between stakeholders.

    • Basic knowledge of stock control principles.
    • Sound knowledge of nursing activities and procedures as per Scope of Practice
