    Team Leader Artisan MWG

    POSITION DETAILS

    General 

    • Monitor Safety, Quality, and Delivery in line with objectives by following standardized work. 
    • Any reasonable task that may be assigned to you.

    Safety 

    • Monitor compliance with JSA and correct any non-conformities.
    • Monitor work areas adherence to 5S standards of workplace/ organization, Workstations to be free of debris and contamination.

    Quality 

    • Review quality and operations for defects or operators for issues.
    • Understand and adhere to the Quality Operating System and utilize provided tools to improve product and process quality.

    Delivery 

    • Perform Startup & Close-out verification / confirmation tasks.
    • Conduct daily SQDCPME verifications / confirmations.
    • Complete daily Standardized Work observation. Monitor compliance with OIS and correct any non-conformities.
    • React, Resolve, Track abnormalities (ANDON), and confirm closure of concerns.
    • Assist production operators as required to maintain production flow consistent with cycle time requirements.

    Maintenance 

    • Verify / Confirm maintenance tasks (Crisis, Predictive and Preventive) are completed by the appropriate people.
    • Lead FTPM actions to improve job / station performance.
    • Reviewing FIS information and using it to improve line performance.
    • Raising of issues on the GPA system to relevant personnel and track that they are completed and closed on time.
    • Conduct inspections/certifications for critical, predictive, and preventive maintenance work that can be accomplished by the right person
    • Work with team members to use downtime to perform planned maintenance assigned by the maintenance department. to be completed in the specified time

    IMG Regional Transportation Management Analyst

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and implement optimize Logistics Network by closely working with Suppliers, Carriers, Material Handling, Material Flow Engineering, Supply Chain by adhering SLA and safety standards.
    • Use digital tools, platforms, and software’s such as TMS, LMS, Optimizer, Route Planner, ERP etc to improvise the logistics network and achieve cost efficiency by optimizing the cube and routes. 
    • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address daily operational issues and concerns.
    • Ensure Carrier, Supplier and System readiness for new program launches, studies, and localization.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for facility audits, window time compliance & improvement in turnaround time.
    • Ensure seamless traffic flow, vehicle call-ins, returnable flows, and unloading operations at the plant.
    • Promote continuous improvement in dock schedule compliance, TAT, dock balancing and in-plant traffic.
    • Ensure zero production stoppage while dynamically managing daily loads, routes & fleet rotation optimally.
    • Analyze logistics network opportunities in terms of cost, cube, mode, frequency, transit time, inventory, multi-modal options, and fleet customization. Driver strategic initiatives with CFT for implementation.
    • Monitor and Enhance KPIs such as on-time pickup, on-time delivery, transit time adherence, dock schedule adherence, API/EDI Compliance, TAT Adherence and plan vs. actual load performance.
    • Monitor carrier operations, KPIs, dashboards, reports and metrics to ensure production continuity
    • Plan periodic load and physical audits of trucks to enhance cube utilization.

    Material Handling & Packaging Engineer (SMF)

    Responsibilities

    1. PFEP Management: Maintain complete accuracy and currency of all information within the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) system, ensuring 100% robust PFEP-Pro integrity.
    2. Record Maintenance: Keep all “SMART” AUTOCALL & CALL records updated consistently.
    3. Engineering Change Implementation: Ensure timely and proper implementation of all engineering changes, with ongoing monitoring to verify success.
    4. Process Improvement Implementation: Execute all Synchronous Material Flow (SMF) and Material Flow Engineering (MFE) process and material flow improvements, including sequencing, kitting, milkrun, and direct supply methods.
    5. Problem Solving: Address continuous supply and flow disruptions/High Hurts by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
    6. Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular audits on Vehicle Usage Verifications (VUV), AUTOCALL, and LSA to detect illegal part relocations and ensure system accuracy and integrity. Audit kitting areas for market area locations, labelling, and adherence to 5S principles by material handling teams.
    7. Process Efficiency and Optimization: Analyse process efficiencies and collaborate with Material Handling (MH) Planners & Operations teams to identify opportunities for headcount reduction and process optimization.
    8. Route Calibration and Monitoring: Calibrate routes and oversee the filling of requests on the Material Replenishment Screen (MRT) for CALL supply routes.
    9. Digital Work Tablet Calibration: Calibrate Digital Work Tablets (DWT) and monitor the integrity of request requirements.
    10. System Synchronization: Ensure weekly synchronization of PFEP-Pro with SMART & CMMS3 regarding Parts of the Future (POF), packaging, and material streams.
    11. Compliance with Standards: Ensure all SMF implementations adhere to ISO & FORD Standards and Procedures.
    12. Support for New Model Launches: Provide support for new model launches by developing new material flow paths and methods, designing stillages, liaising with dunnage suppliers, and updating PFEP from VBOM.
    13. Operational Support During Disruptions: Assist with material handling operation duties during disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances.
    14. Innovation and Technology Adoption: Lead initiatives for innovation and the adoption of new technologies to enhance MFE designs and processes.
    15. Maintenance: Ensure preventive maintenance standards are defined & adhered to for SMF facilities ranging from lineside racking, supply trolleys & Sequencing/kitting facilities etc.

    Communication and Working Relationships

    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to ensure seamless material flow and process improvements.
    2. Liaise with suppliers and external partners to ensure effective material flow and compliance with design standards.
    3. Maintain open lines of communication with material handling teams to address and resolve flow disruptions and ensure adherence to established processes.

    Qualifications

    1. Working knowledge of Body, Paint, TCF & MP&L dept. environments.
    2. Supply chain Management, Material planning, or Engineering experience.

    Product Communications Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement product communications strategies to support pre-launch, launch and sustain phases of various products. This includes:
    • Develop pre-launch, launch and sustainment strategies that are aligned with Marketing, as well as key messages and event plans to support key products through their lifecycle
    • Budget management, issuing Purchase Requisitions, implementing control processes, and ensuring payment of event suppliers
    • Strategic planning and implementation of new product launches and media drive events, within specific budget parameters 
    • Outreach, engagement, and relationship-building with those journalists that can provide additional coverage in broader media including lifestyle, electronic and other non-traditional outlets
    • Sustain constant flow of positive media coverage around Ford through press releases, editorial and advertorial outreach
    • Crisis communications, this includes liaison with legal and external agents, statements, QAs, briefing books, and attending key meetings.
    • Interact cross-functionally with departments such as Fleet Operations, Manufacturing, Government & Legal Affairs, Purchasing, Engineering and Marketing, Sales & Service as well as the IMG region.
    • Managing and maximizing the utilization of the press test fleet within set budget parameters
    • Develop and manage the press plan for motor shows and other sponsored events.
    • Manage outside service providers with respect to events, communications agencies and the road test program.
    • Support product recalls in general, this includes attending bi-weekly recall meetings, preparing holding statements and QAs, ensuring legal approvals on all messaging
    • Keep the Ford Brand Rebuild strategy in mind with all initiatives, along with Ford OS
    • Serve as the Communications team member that interfaces with the brand / product marketing managers on all key product launches and all communications initiatives, including sponsorships
    • Serve as the company spokesperson on all Product Related Communications, in conjunction with the Communications Director
    • Represent Communications on various brand and product teams, providing guidance, counsel and development of launch programs that promote and enhance the reputation of Ford Motor Company products through the media and to consumers, 
    • Participate in the Take to Market (TTM) process to ensure that all Communication launch activities are supported and represented
    • Work with key agencies (Comms, Marketing and Social) and service providers to ensure well-aligned, high-quality assets and ensure product communications plans are implemented successfully through all channels to all media 
    • Contribute to internal communications on product announcements working with relevant stakeholders
    • Ensure that Ford brand pillar communications at auto shows and exhibitions are strategically delivered, well-aligned with relevant stakeholders; work with key agencies and service providers to ensure they are well-supported by appropriate high-quality assets and proper distribution plans
    • Develop relationships with regional communications colleagues to integrate Best Practices, and gain a better understanding of our products and company issues
    • Analyse competitive media actions/ new trends, along with the appropriate agency, to develop proactive PR approaches
    • Represent Ford at the Naamsa PR Forum and, where applicable, SAGMJ activities
    • Manage and co-ordinate the media road test fleet in conjunction with the Social Media lead and the Communications Director
    • Media release briefing, writing and editing on a weekly basis
    • Strong understanding of social media - and will work closely with the Social Media Specialist in developing campaigns to drive product awareness, community engagement, etc.
    • Grow the lifestyle portfolio and the way we interact with them, this includes launches, press packs, initiatives targeted at these media
    • Look for collaborative opportunities with lifestyle media as well as brands that complement nameplates
    • Think out the box, look for new ways to do launches and engage with media, while showing the merits of our product

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or Communications
    • Five to seven years of Communications experience
    • Automotive experience is an advantage but not essential if the successful applicant can demonstrate a proven track record in media relations/communications, and a real interest in the automotive industry

    Stamping VME Engineer

    POSITION DETAILS

    • Liaise with VME Team, vehicle operations, engineering teams, and suppliers.
    • Raise Purchase Orders etc. as required for Tooling and Facilities.
    • Participate in DDR (Die Design Reviews), tooling reviews, and buyoff activities.
    • Assist with all Launch and Sheet Metal quality activities.
    • Complete PSW and acquire required customer acceptances
    • Compile and report LQOS (Launch Quality Operating System) metrics + attend all launch meeting cadences
    • Support to Identify and analyze deviations from established company quality standards.
    • Conduct root cause investigations and prevent re-occurrences
    • Conduct PVT & TVM activities as required
    • Work with both facility and tooling teams both within to ensure all launch metrics are delivered.
    • Buy off tooling at supplier site, ensure timely in plant delivery timing allowing for robust launch and early PSW completion
    • Develop and train LNE teams on all sites to be capable of:
    • Overcoming issues such as splits and wrinkles
    • Improving FPA to better than expected levels
    • Ensuring all tools run at Engineered Cycle Rate prior to production handover.
