    Database Administrator (Temp) - Support CPT (Southern Suburbs (Cape))

    Purpose of the Job

    • To create a comprehensive database of our clients for the region and manage it through a CRM system

    Database compilation

    • This role will involve scheduling and conducting meetings with various stakeholders within the business in order to collate information
    • Compiling information in a structured manner in the CRM system
    • Travel to various properties if required in order to gather information

    Requirements
    Knowledge

    • Expert knowledge of database compilation and CRM systems

    Experience

    • 1 – 2 year’s experience in a data capturing and administration position

    Education

    • Matric
    • Post Matric qualification will be advantageous
    • Valid drivers license (essential)

    Legal Advisor (Sandton)

    Purpose of the Job

    • Providing strategic legal advice across multiple divisions/sectors of the business, focusing on acquisitions and disposals of immovable property, leasing, risk management and reviewing and drafting of general legal agreements.

    Key Performance Areas

    • To advise the Heads and other staff on the underpinning legislation within the Property Industry and other law affecting the Group.
    • Advise, negotiate, and prepare various agreements relating to the disposal or acquisition of shares or immovable property.
    • Conduct due diligence for property acquisitions, if required, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
    • Assist with the registration of property transactions and manage all related legal documentation.
    • To ensure the effective transfer of ownership in a timeous manner.
    • Advise, negotiate, and prepare agreements relating to the leasing of property within the commercial property sector.
    • Negotiate standard agreements with National tenants.
    • Advise, negotiate, and prepare agreements relating to the development of immovable property, including aspect relating to Environmental and Sustainability law and/or best practice.
    • Advise, negotiate on or prepare agreements relating to joint ventures, coownerships and/or partnerships.
    • Advise, negotiate on or prepare agreements relating to Mergers and Acquisitions, Takeovers and corporate restructuring transactions.
    • Advise, negotiate on or prepare agreements relating to banking and financial structures
    • Manage Competition Commission submissions and ensure the accuracy of information as may be contained therein.
    • Work with other departments when required to assist them on implementing systems to ensure the effective and timely operation of the Company’s responsibilities under the various bodies of law which affect the Company.
    • To advise across the organisation on the legal effects of legislation.
    • To take part in and facilitate training and education of staff, on relevant legal responsibilities and evidential issues
    • To instruct counsel and external legal advisers on matters which require external legal assistance.
    • Initiating, managing, and defending litigation claims on behalf of the organization. This includes providing legal advice, assessing and mitigating legal risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and reporting on the status of ongoing cases to senior management.
    • Advise on propertyrelated disputes, including landlordtenant issues and evictions.
    • To undertake other such duties as may be reasonably requested by the Head of Legal

    Requirements
    Knowledge

    • Expert level of knowledge of all aspects of Property and Real Estate Law.
    • Sound grasp on corporate government issues.
    • Knowledge of corporate law including Environmental law, Competition law, Privacy laws and Occupational Health and Safety.

    Junior Events Manager (CPT) (Southern Suburbs (Cape))

    Purpose of the Job

    • To deliver show-stopping events that consistently exceed expectations, ensuring every experience is flawlessly executed. This role involves the end-to-end management of all events within Growthpoint, from conception to completion, creating memorable and impactful experiences that resonate with attendees, while turning every occasion into an opportunity to showcase the Growthpoint brand.

    Key Performance Areas

    Event Coordination

    • Coordinate and arrange all internal Growthpoint staff, internal client and external client events.
    • Source venues, catering, logistics, concepts and gifts, and track responses to deliver exceptional events that are aligned to Growthpoint’s brand for all external and internal clients, and across all regions.

    Gifting and promotional Items

    • Source and provide promotional items as well as corporate gifts that are aligned with Growthpoint’s brand, in line with campaign budget and delivery specifications.

    Budget Management

    • Contribute to annual marketing budget prep
    • Manage individual event budgets
    • Monitor and track own marketing budget throughout the year
    • Process invoices 

    Supplier Liaison & Management

    • Effectively liase with suppliers, vendors, venues, and hotels.

    Events Trend Analysis

    • Source new venues and event ideas, keeping up to date with the latest industry trends.

    Marketing Strategy Contribution

    • Contribute ideas to marketing strategy development
