    Key Performance Areas

    • Installation, repair and maintain factory machinery and building electrical equipment
    • Preventative maintenance according to job cards and relevant work instruction.

    Quality Engineer - Pretoria

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Developing and implementing quality management systems in manufacturing industries.
    • Creating and maintaining company documentation such as quality manuals and quality procedures.
    • Troubleshooting problems or flaws in the item provided for testing.

    Metrologist - East London

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Create measuring programme from customer supplied measuring data
    • Convert data received for CNC measuring programme for DEA measuring machine.
    • Conduct dimensional measuring control on parts (ISIR, capability studies, product audits and FMK’s).
    • Conduct Metrology / Laboratory Audits
    • Conduct Metallurgical Analysis e.g. macro / micro sampling, weld analysis etc
    • Ensure that maintenance of measuring machine is conducted as per requirements.
    • Ensure that work practises comply with the company SHE procedures and works instructions.
    • Ensure CMM calibration and schedule is up to date
    • Ensure all plant measuring equipment is up to date
    • Ensure calibration software validity and equipment schedules are maintained

    • Drive metrological related topics and provide solutions
    • Ensure checking fixtures are maintained and functional
    • Support toolroom and toolmakers on weld jigs set up and tooling analysis

    Minimum Requirements

    • Extensive tool making experience within automotive environment
    • Minimum 2 years in 3D software experience
    • Minimum 2 years Metrology experience
    • Metallurgical experience / background
    • Understanding of customer special requirements e.g. Toyota, BMW

    Instrumentation Technician - East London

    Key Performance Areas

    • Repair and maintain press machinery to ensure customer and company quality standards are met
    • Do fault finding and preventative maintenance as per maintenance schedule and according to job cards and relevant work instruction.
    • Compile feedback on time sheets to ensure accurate repair data and forward to the Senior Instrumentation Technician
    • Ensure that company procedures, works instructions and quality systems are adhered to at all times
    • Participate actively in the departmental M2S as per company requirement
    • Ensure that work practises comply with the company SHEQ procedures and works instructions.

    Minimum Requirements

    • NQF Educational level N6/ Diploma/Degree
    • Educational qualification: Qualified Electrician/ Millwright/ Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Technician/Millwright in the Electrical field within an Automotive environment
    • Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens S7, TIA Portal, ABB/ KUKA KRC4 Robot, Festo and Fidia, Sick scanners
    • Process experience (Spot welding, INTEC Sealer, Laser welding, Projection welding)
    • Inline measuring system i.e. Perceptron etc
