Specific responsibilities

• Service predetermined client base with relevant offerings and solutions
• Identify, generate new business opportunities on an ongoing basis to achieve predetermined sales targets
• Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to new and existing clients to negotiate and close deals, aimed at relevant client objectives
• Create tailored solutions that meet the client’s short- and long-term needs
• Build strategic working relationships with clients and maintain a high level of client contact (telephonic, email communication and face to face) to ensure that their specific requirements are addressed, to monitor and grow existing business
• Provide professional and exceptional client service in all interactions with clients
• Closely monitor competitors and maintain client database
• Keep all administrative work updated including booking procedures
• Report on sales opportunities and achievements as required (weekly and monthly)
• Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge

Qualifications and experience

• A recognised qualification in sales, journalism, copywriting, media or a similar relevant field
• At least 3 years in ad sales
• Experience in a similar position in a retail, publishing, brand or agency environment
• A sound working knowledge of digital and social media channels, including bought media on social
• An adaptable nature with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to be a team player
• The ability to work under pressure and proactively deal with high-stress situations

What you'll do:

• General upkeep of the buildings electrical installations, systems and equipment.
• Inspections, recordings and corrections on electrics.
• Adhering to safety performance standards, protocols and lock out procedures.
• Ensure tools inspections and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Safe and clean workshop and working areas on floors.
• Maintenance of 3 phase controls and supply.
• Fault finding in electrical reticulation and electrical equipment.
• Maintenance of kitchen and other equipment as and when required.
• Day to day maintenance work in and around the group offices and buildings.
• Fixing or changing of fixtures and fittings of the building as required.
• Recording and reporting monthly on all work completed.
• Tracking of and budgeting for stock, tools and equipment required. that
• Notifying the Property Manager when an external contractor will need to be contacted.
• Working with contractors providing SLA services.
• Assisting with Ad hoc requests from Property Manager

What we're looking for:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Grade 12 or N3 equivalent.
• Red Seal Certification and Three Phase Electrical Tester.
• Solid 5+ years in the electrical field.
• Knowledge of electrics and general building maintenance
• Health and Safety knowledge
• Must have a driver's license
• Wiremen’s license a must-have

What the role entails

Back-end Development:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable back-end systems using Ruby on Rails. Experience with PHP and C# .NET is a plus.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs to support front-end applications and improve user experience.
• Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

System Architecture & Design: 

• Participate in architectural decision-making, focusing on building scalable and cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. 

Cloud & Infrastructure: 

• Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments like AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Quality & Performance Assurance:

•  Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for speed and efficiency.

Collaboration & Communication:

•  Work closely with front-end developers, project managers, and designers to ensure seamless integration and end-to-end solutions..

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with server-side frameworks like Laravel is a plus. Experience with Angular or React is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (GitHub).
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of software security best practices.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable code and following industry best practices.

What will you do?

• You will be working in an agile environment alongside a dynamic, and multi-skilled team of engineers. Your role will be to work alongside another QA tester to roll out the automation strategy. You will be required to deliver sound, technical solutions based on the needs of the business and users. Driving quality solutions that are delivered on time, within budget and scope is key.
• You will be responsible in building out the test and automation coverage of our systems as well as perform manual testing.

What must you have?

• Minimum of 5-8 years QA experience of which at least 3 are in automation
• An ISTQB & relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience with large-scale website and mobile app development and testing
• Experience managing multiple project solutions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique requirements
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with Selenium, Azure Devops and a Cloud testing environment is essential
• Minimum of 1 year’s coding experience with C# / Java / Javascript / Python / SQL

Experience with software QA methodologies, tools, processes and best practices including:

• Continuous integration
• Automated regression testing
• Performance testing
• Secure by design
