    Bookkeeper - Multifranchise Nelspruit

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Prepare, report and consolidate financial statements:

    • Generate trial balances and reconciliations.
    • Accurately prepare and review all reconciliations.
    • Ensure all accruals and journal entries up to date.
    • Prepare cost allocations for payments and deposits.
    • Manage all payments and allocation of receipts (i.e. cheques, electronic fund transfers etc.)

    Control fixed assets and follow up on outstanding vehicle debtors:

    • Calculate all additions, disposals and depreciation of assets.
    • Align all physical assets with asset register.
    • Ensure that depreciation calculation agrees with nominal account.
    • Vehicle debtor queries actioned within specified timeframe.
    • Debtors and once-off payments.
    • Assist FM/DP with management of daily, operating and annual financial reports, meeting applicable timelines.
    • Handle insurance administration including investigation of insurance claims, responsible for 3rd party payments, and accurate recovery of excesses.

    Reconcile stock:

    • Prepare and/or review vehicle, parts and asset stock-takes.
    • Process credit notes, do parts creditors recon and follow up on variances.
    • Reflect vehicle stock accurately and timeously in nominal ledger; reconciliation of nominal ledger accounts and follow up on variances.
    • Calculate depreciation on demo vehicles (ensure stock is accounted for against NRV).
    • Calculate and forecast provisions (used obsolescence, fleet claims ageing, warranty ageing etc)
    • Prepare audit schedules for auditors and assist them in finalising audits.
    • Process credit notes, do warranty recon and follow up on variances.
    • Calculate and submit monthly VAT Recon.
    • Review FSP calculations
    • Cash Management
    • Maintain good housekeeping within department in terms of ensuring that financial documents and records are filed and archived for easy accessibility.
    • Ensure that the correct accounting policies and procedures are followed at all times.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Experience Required:

    • 3+ years' bookkeeping experience in a similar environment.
    • Relevant bookkeeping/ finance experience within the motor industry at dealership level is highly desired and would give a candidate an advantage.

    Minimum Qualification/s Required:

    • Senior Certificate with Mathematics and Accounting is minimum.
    • N.Diploma or B.Com degree with Accounting (or other relevant NQF6/ NQF7+ qualification) – highly desired

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and the ability to competently and legitimately drive.
    • Computer literate; highly proficient in Excel and Outlook.
    • Knowledge and ability to use relevant DMS functions (Drive IA) is an advantage.

    Sales Executive: New Vehicles (Stellantis) | Land Rover Bloemfontein

    Key Tasks:

    • Customer and sales management.
    • Develop the business to reach set sales targets for the month.
    • Drive specific strategies to retain and grow existing customer base.
    • Prospect for new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.
    • Sell vehicle features and benefits.
    • Handle customer questions and overcome objections.
    • Professionally handle the vehicle handover to the customer.
    • Manage customer expectations to ensure effective delivery of service.

    • Attend all relevant OEM training courses, and any other developmental training opportunities allocated.

    Experience Required:

    • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the motor dealership industry. Experience selling the same/similar brands successfully is an advantage and prior experience selling NEW vehicles is highly desired.
    • A proven track record of meeting monthly targets.
    • Experience in cold calling to develop a client base.

    Qualifications Required:

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid, unendorsed drivers license
    • Preference will be given to suitable prospects that speak the language commonly spoken in the area, i.e. Afrikaans.
    • Computer literate
    • Understanding of the compliance governing the retail industry would be an advantage.
    • Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of competitive motor industry.

    Sales Manager: Used Vehicles - Polokwane Multifranchise

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Sourcing and buying stock, ensuring optimum stock of vehicles on premises to meet sales requirements.
    • Maximizing sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers to meet sales forecast.
    • Developing the necessary sales organization to meet sales and profitability objectives.
    • Ensuring cost control to budget within the department.
    • Ensure adequate product display material is available.
    • Review all pricing policies, discounts and “trade-in” dealing to maintain Dealership profitability.
    • Monitor financial performance of sales department weekly.
    • Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with timeously and effectively.
    • Ensure that vehicle is delivered according to OEM quality and safety standards.
    • Ensure that departmental customer satisfaction/ expectation targets are met.
    • Ensure direct and indirect costs remain within Company prescribed parameters.
    • Ensure that Sales Executives receive new model launch training.
    • Establish the staffing levels and the training required to achieve sales objectives.
    • Ensure that all floorplan activities are monitored.
    • Ensure stock level is kept within company policy requirements.
    • Maximize sale of back-end products.

    Experience and Knowledge Required:

    • A minimum of 5 years vehicle sales experience within the motor vehicle industry. Relevant experience in used car sales is essential.
    • Track record of accurate vehicle valuations, setting and adjusting pricing is essential.
    • Prior experience in a sales management role; managing, leading, administering and motivating a sales team to achieve objectives, to guide and implement effective sales processes and systems, and to ensure achievement of business sales objectives is preferred.
    • A previous successful track record in sales is required.
    • Solid track record of sourcing and buying stock, and evaluating vehicles, is required.
    • Sales compliance management experience is required.

    Qualifications Required:

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
    • A relevant tertiary qualification NQF6+ (e.g. sales/ marketing/ business management) qualification - an added advantage.

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid, unendorsed drivers license and the ability to competently and legitimately drive.
    • Computer literate: MS Office and dealer lead management system.
    • Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of competitive motor industry.
