    Warehouse Supervisor

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

    • Monitor security and safety.
    • Ensure customer service.
    • Manage stock in store.
    • Ensure placement of stock in correct shelves/bins.
    • Ensure tidiness of store and yard and pest control.
    • Manage stock take and cycle counting.
    • Ensure reports of expire dates.
    • Manage consignment stock.
    • Ensure and support candidates during In-house training.
    • Support candidates during development process.
    • Manage staff.
    • Ensure that the sales process in store are followed according to Hinterland Procedure.
    • Invoices vs Store Receiving agree with each other.
    • Stock take and Expiry date Management.
    • Sales at POS when necessary.
    • Ensure that the yard is neat.
    • Do daily spot checks on pipes and poles.
    • Bathrooms of Store is in a good and tidy condition.
    • Stacks are neatly packed and safe to walk by.
    • Grass is short and all weeds is shuffled out.

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate.
    • Candidates with relevant experience will receive preference.

    Operator (Bastion)

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Observe and monitor equipment operation during the extraction, hauling, crushing and screening processes to detect any
    • problems.
    • Unload materials, devices, and machine parts, using hand tools.
    • Set up and adjust equipment in the plant.
    • Perform maintenance tasks on key equipment.
    • Perform daily check sheets in area of work (TMM's, Conveyors, other plant areas)
    • Do internal risk assessments daily in your area of work
    • Assist with general duties and ad-hoc responsibilities at Bastion mining operation sites, either hauling of limestone by means of
    • TMM or operating of the crushing and screening plants.

    Requirements

    • Skilled in and licensed to operate trackless mobile machinery (TMM)
    • Basic rigging certification
    • Hand tools certification

    • Relevant Agricultural/ Business Management/ Retail Diploma.
    • 5-10 Years relevant management experience

    Senior Grain Grader - Raathsvlei

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensures that grain materials are correctly and accurately sampled and graded through close supervision, follow-up, and control.
    • Ensures that product quality is maintained throughout storage timeframe of grain through close monitoring, analysing information/reports, and by making timeous decisions.
    • Ensures the accurate and timely dispatching of grain through close supervision.
    • Ensure correct and safe fumigation of grain when necessary.
    • Ensures that the silo premises are clean, neat, tidy and without insect infestation through timeous allocation of tasks, follow-up and close supervision.
    • Ensures that all mechanical equipment is regularly serviced and maintained on a consistent basis by initiating maintenance/service requests via line supervisor.

    Requirements

    • Valid driver's license.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in grain handling and grading.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy and accountability in all aspects of the job.
