    Job Description

    • To deliver expert product guidance and support to empower frontline teams and clients in making informed decisions that align with business objectives and customer needs.

    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Marketing, Banking, Finance or Fleet environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
    • Asset Based Finance experience is mandatory

    • Identifies potential risks or fraud and flags as per standard procedures.
    • Generates daily, weekly and monthly sales reports from system, and presents to dealers and relevant parties on dealer sales progress.
    • Remains aware of and shares market intelligence as picked up through relationships and other forms of information sharing, and advises Sales Manager of trends.
    • Builds and maintains appropriate dealer relationships in support of an exceptional customer experience and the building of Business reputation.
    • Updates all systems and administration as per standard policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
    • Maximises new business opportunities with dealers, bankers and direct customers, through securing financing of assets, selling value added products and relationship building in order to grow profitability and market share for the Product House.
    • Receives financing applications directly through various platforms, or follows customer leads from dealers, identifies customer financing needs and captures customer information on the system.
    • Sends applications to various banks for approval and discusses outcomes with customer for appropriate selection and payment of the deal whilst ensuring Business is best represented to maximise conversion rate.
    • Negotiates rates as per determined guidelines for the deal, to maximise profitability and to treat customer fairly.
    • Identifies opportunities to sell value added products to fit customer needs, and updates system and contract as agreed with customer.

    You will be an ideal candidate if you:

    Education

    • Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
    • RE5 Certification (Essential)
    • FAIS-compliant qualification (NQF5 in Short Term Insurance or Wealth Management – depending on product line)

    Experience
    2–5 years’ experience in

    • Finance & Insurance marketing
    • Automotive dealership finance
    • Insurance sales (short‑term or life)
    • Financial product marketing
    • Strong mathematical and finance skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex programs to buyers
    • Knowledge of financial compliance requirements
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to help customers find a good deal that fits their financial situation
    • Advanced negotiation skills to help customers find the best rate
    • Strong sales and closing skills to boost sales for the dealership

    • 5 – 8 years’ experience in an analytical and/or modelling position 
    • 3 years in a management role leading a team (Non-Negotiable) 
    • Data science and big data knowledge preferable 
    • Pricing experience, added advantage 
    • Good communication skills 
    • Quantitative and analytical skills 
    • Financial modelling skills 
    • SAS, Python, SQL, Teradata, PowerBI programming preferable 
    • Good interpretation skills
