    Business Analyst (BEX) (JHB North)

    OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

    • The Business Analyst is responsible for enabling the Marketing Team and EXCO team with data analytics and tools to understand market conditions, the performance of Aspen and individual brands in order to make strategic decisions by brand and for the organization as a whole. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Management of Total Private Market (TPM) audit and the IQVIA vendor

    • Ensure TPM data is delivered timeously
    • Ensure data view through Power BI model is aligned with Internal customer requirements 

    Reporting and data management

    • Quality data reports delivered as per business expectations and validated by the business unit heads.
    • Effective vendor management for the systems they require to effectively execute their functions. 

    Brand performance trackers and reporting

    • Reporting of brand performance through appropriate analytical tools such as:
    • Power BI
    • Excel brand dashboards
    • New product launch dashboards
    • This is according to annual budgeted targets that have been set by the Business Unit Head team. 

    Train Brand Managers and Marketing Managers on data usage and interpretation

    • Ad hoc data analysis as required by stakeholders/brand managers and Sales Representatives. These would relate to reports they require to assist them in understanding their customer more effectively.

    Requirements
    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric / Grade 12 Certification is mandatory
    • A tertiary qualification would be advantageous

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years in data analytics in the pharmaceutical industry (mandatory)
    • Expert skills in
    • SAP, Power BI and Qlicksense are mandatory requirements
    • Microsoft suite including advanced Excel is mandatory
    • Market data, data extraction and transformation methodologies are essential
    • Experience of having operated in a complex matrix organization
    • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial operations and processes, and the impact on business is vital 

    SOFT SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • Strategic and problem-solving skills
    • Storytelling and sense-making of data to translate into business insights
    • Ability to turn data driven insights into actionable ways to drive business results
    • Able to proactively identify business opportunities and translate them to key stakeholders
    • Efficient prioritization of tasks for critical business deliverables
    • Ability to develop and deliver compelling executive-level presentations
    • Ability to perform well under pressure and maintain commitment to deadlines
    • Cross collaboration across the organization
    • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills
    • Self-motivated, curious, and critical thinker
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to simplify complex data-driven insights
    • Drives accountability for personal and team performance 

    COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel, Power BI, Qlicksense and SAP 
    • The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s licence and be available to travel as per the requirements of the role.

    Human Capital Intern (JHB North)

    Requirements

    • This Internship is for a fixed period of 12 months during which learners will be exposed to practical and theoretical knowledge of Human Resources. It is envisaged that field trips will form part of the curriculum as such learners must be willing and be able to travel. Must not have participated in a Learnership or Internship programme.

    To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet these minimum requirements:

    • Must have a completed Degree/BCom in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology   
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • South African Citizen 
    • No current or pending disciplinary incidents
