    Parts Sales & Service Representative - P1

    The Role

    • As the Part, Sales, and Service Representative, you will represent the SRP product lines in your defined area of responsibility (area and/or customer defined), through managing and supporting all dealers, direct business, and customers regarding after-market sales and service, and exploring new business opportunities.  This role is product support focused and concentrates on providing guidance and advice on the implementation of support strategies for the product range to our direct businesses and end customers in the Sales Area, to help ensure the growth of our after-market business.

    • Order intake vs budget/forecast per account.
    • Revenue v budget/forecast per account
    • AM Sales Growth %
    • Customer Response rate (Case Management)
    • NPS (Net Promoter Score) – per account

    Key Performance Areas

    The duties and responsibilities associated with this role will include, but are not limited to:  

    The Parts, Sales, and Service Representative will:

    • Proactively work with Account Manager and local Service Manager (where applicable) to schedule annual training seminars.
    • Work closely with the Customer Account Manager and Customer Service Representative (where applicable) to provide supply contracts, recommend spare parts, proposals, etc. to our business network and identify areas of opportunity.
    • Actively track equipment fleet and hour usage monthly.
    • Identify sales opportunities based upon gaps in product line penetration and devise an action plan to capture this business.
    • Develop specific parts and service solutions, utilizing Salesforce to track sales funnel and stage of each opportunity.
    • Draft and present contract agreements for parts and service offerings.
    • Assist Customers with finding new ways to expand our product base on key account visits.
    • Manage business portal and business warranty monthly to ensure all purchased inventory is moved to prospective direct business.
    • Have sound knowledge of CRM systems.
    • Participate in S&OP (supply & operations meetings) to provide input on customer demand plans to assist with proactive demand planning and optimal inventory management

    EHS Responsibilities:                   

    • Adhere to Sandvik EHS requirements

    Profile Required

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
    • Relevant Certificate / Diploma in Sales and marketing
    • Qualification (diploma) in sales with at least 5 years’ experience in Crushing & Screening. A technical qualification will be an advantage
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft office, Word, Excel
    • Strong customer service focus
    • English proficiency
    • Ability to work in a matrix organization environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Ability to network within the industry and follow through on leads & opportunities.

    Other Requirements

    • Be willing to travel to other territories if the need arises.
    • Must be a smart worker who is self-motivated, performance-based outcomes orientated and needs no supervision.

    Field Service Technician x10

    The Role:

    • Get customer satisfaction by installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning service, considering economical and other aspects. Problem solving by using of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in different kinds of situations. Knowledge of the tasks, tools and procedures associated with providing technical support to the sales team and prospective customers.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Install, repair, inspect and commission products and equipment of different kind at customer site or own premises.
    • Report and document results after above actions.
    • Responsible for plan, conduct and maintain tools and equipment for service work.
    • Support the customer’s product/equipment/processes by suggesting possible improvements.
    • Provide technical support to the sales team.
    • Provide problem solving to customer.
    • Ability to produce positive results in sales-client interventions.
    • Guide colleagues in service methods and tools.
    • Share own knowledge to enable colleagues to expand their knowledge.

     Your Profile:

    • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
    • Trade Certificate of Competence, if possible Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Millwright, accompanied by proof of apprenticeship.
    • Minimum 2 year experience working as Field Service Technician with proven competence as Earth moving Equipment Technician in the above mentioned field
    • Basic Computer literacy
    • Own set of  tools
    • English proficiency
    • Code 08 license
    • Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment Experience in:
    • Fault finding / electro hydraulic / auto electrical / hydraulic / PLC, remote control offerings
    • Underground mining environment, maintaining of earth moving equipment

    ESS Coordinator - S3

    The Role

    • To support the sales area in overall management of equipment customers’ orders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that any non-standard term and conditions have been approved prior to order entry.
    • Ensure compliance with BA mining standard ordering processes and rules.
    • For stock order or reservations ensure order is covered by the PA supply plan and get approval of SA management prior to order entry.
    • Provide service to KAM’s requests on proposal and placing machine orders on received and approved PO’s.
    • Invoice machines, follow up on Proof of delivery with transport supplier.
    • Review customer PO against case and quote.
    • Comply with applicable legislation.

    Your Profile:

    • Degree in Marketing and or Financial Management
    • 5 Years experience Sales and Marketing
    • Must have knowledge in Aurora and CRM 
    • Office Suite Literacy
    • English proficiency
    • The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills and demonstrate excellent analytical abilities
    • Professional, energetic, dynamic and positive team player with great business acumen
    • Ability to work well within a high-pressure environment
    • Must be able to liaise on all levels in the organizatio
