Responsibilities

• ITI Hosting services.
• Manage, support and process all ITI Hosting Line Managers’ SCM service requests.
• Monitor and track all ITI Hosting service requests’ end-to-end Contract management lifecycle.
• Ensure that governance processes for measuring and reporting on the performance on the ITI Hosting contracts are in place and effective.
• Ensure that all the ITI Hosting SCM service requests are maintained and updated on a weekly basis.
• Reporting and Communication across all stakeholders involved.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: 3-year Diploma / Degree in Financial Management/Business Administration/Contract Management or related field/ NQF level 6.
• Experience: 3 – 5 years working experience performing SCM/ Contract Management request fulfilment management in a corporate/public sector organization.

Technical Competencies:

Purpose of the job

• To research, design, install, test and maintain and enhance software systems write and coding of individual programmes in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Develop/ Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency using SITAs software development stack/ development framework;
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met;
• Produce detailed specifications and writing the programme codes;
• Maintain the integrated IT software components systems once they are up and running; and
• Develop integrated technical service specifications for single or multiple software components to clearly set direction for procuring or building software components.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3 years Diploma / Degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field.
• Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), within systems development, implementation and maintenance / enhancements of solutions in the corporate sector organisation.

SharePoint experience should include:

• Installation and configuration of SharePoint. Design, development, administration, support and maintenance of
• SharePoint sites, Teams, OneDrive for Business. Plan, design and implement SharePoint security including, but not limited to, authentication, security roles, user groups, audiences, and item level security. Troubleshooting of functional and technical incidents occurring within SharePoint. SharePoint PowerShell scripting and C#. SharePoint Online, 365 environment and PowerBI.
• Maintaining technical documentation that supports the SharePoint systems.

Technical Competencies Description

• The role will be responsible to execute complex application development, maintenance projects and services and provide innovative solutions and products that resolve challenges of government service delivery .The Advance Software Developer will be responsible for guiding and executing the design, development, and execution of complex services and projects of ICT solutions.

Key Responsibility Area

• Lead the development of functional requirements that articulate clear and concise project deliverables that are compatible with user expectations.
• Deliver feasibility and cost-benefit analysis, including choice of application architecture to enhance the overall application development process.
• Lead and execute complex software development and customisation projects spanning multiple environments to ensure that it is successfully delivered.
• Lead and develop/ customise complex applications services solutions by studying information needs; consulting with clients, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle using SITAs software development stack/ development framework.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum: 3 – 4 Year National Higher Diploma / National Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6. A post graduate qualification OR
• Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 OR 8 Will be an added advantage.
• Certification: Vendor certification for applications will be an added advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the ICT field, including IT Governance, IT Planning, systems development/procurement, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with senior operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation including:
• Extensive experience in software development across multiple platforms.
