    HRD Officer Operations Shaft

    Your duties will include (but not limited to) be:

    • Maintaining a blasting cycle in order to facilitate mining skills training.
    • Implemented and supervised operational mining skills development on the job coaching.
    • Established working underground training environment conducive for skills development in compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act.
    • Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements
    • Progressive reports on predetermined targets for mining.
    • Appropriate budget control.
    • Interaction with relevant stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Blasting Certificate / NQF 3 Rock Breaker Qualification
    • NQF 5 OD ETDP Higher certificate (essential)
    • NQF 6 OD ETDP Diploma (advantageous)
    • Mine Overseer Certificate (advantageous)
    • Assessor and Moderator Certificate (essential)
    • COMSOC I & II, or any other safety related qualification (advantageous)

    Skills & experience:

    • 3 years’ Mining experience, of which 2 years as Shift Supervisor or HRD Officer
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Medically fit

    SC Digitalisation Manager Physical Supply Chain Entrprise Resource Planning

    Your duties will include:

    • Contribute to specific safety, health & sustainability opportunities and risks that will support the broader organizational and Supply Chain ambitions.
    • Complies with all Safety, Health & Environmental requirements.
    • Partner with Centre of Excellence leaders to define and deliver digital solutions across Supply Chain which support delivery of our safety ambitions, with associated reports and dashboards to support safety management.
    • Embrace an agile Supply Chain by being adaptive and flexible to accommodate and focus on emerging and changing business priorities as required.
    • Responsible for the identification, implementation and adoption of systems and tools that will deliver Supply Chain excellence.
    • Provide expert support for the design and integration of systems into a prioritized project portfolio, particularly around SAP AOP and its associated supply chain module

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent
    •  Desirable: A postgraduate qualification (Honours/ Masters degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline

    Treasury Accounting Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Deliver world-class treasury accounting services to Anglo American group companies with a focus on debt, FX and interest rate derivatives, and money market instruments, ensuring adherence to relevant group policies
    • Preparation and review of monthly treasury reporting packs for business units and corporate functions
    • Review of daily bank reconciliations and ensuring any unreconciled items are resolved in a timely manner
    • Preparation of departmental Budgets and Outlooks
    • Deliver automated accounting solutions for treasury transactions executed by Business Units and Corporate legal entities
    • Manage treasury transaction compliance with relevant legislation, accounting standards and external regulatory authority requirements 
    • Line manager for the SA Treasury Accountant

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably commercial, numerical or scientific
    • Qualified accountant  CA (SA) or equivalent)

    Knowledge of:

    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of treasury / financial products and services, including cash and funding instruments, derivatives, and bonds
    • Operational experience in a corporate treasury department with significant systems automation exposure
    • Experience of operation and accounting configuration in the following systems would be a significant advantage:
    • FIS Quantum
    • Bloomberg
    • SAP

    Ability to:

    • Strong understanding of key treasury accounting standards – IAS32, IAS39, IFRS7, and IFRS 9
    • Understanding of key drivers of treasury profit & loss and balance sheet movements
    • Can define requisite accounting and analytical knowledge and skills for team members
    • Provide training for team members in requisite technical skills

    Commercial Advisor - Johannesburg

    Your duties will include:

    • Support the development of category, sourcing and contracting strategies and plans through data gathering and analysis and responsibly execute allocated sourcing & contracting activities.
    • Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers, to drive step change in value and deliver innovative solutions that position Anglo American as a partner of choice
    • Follow a set of global standards for suppliers and contractors to enable delivery in a safe and socially acceptable way and ensure that the organisation sources from responsible suppliers
    • Support the implementation of commercial strategies to support business needs and improve value delivery
    • Provide support with regards to negotiations and finalising GFAs (General Framework Agreements)
    • Actively track commercial dashboard KPIs (e.g., cycle times, contract coverage, category/supplier/ contractor performance etc) and proactively address and escalate issues.
    • Responsible for compiling and executing allocated sourcing events, contracting and contract management (including administration), supplier/contract performance management and initiative management.
    • Support with the effective execution of contracts administrative duties like price files, variations and amendments

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent.
    • Alternatively relevant tertiary qualification and proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity
    • Desirable: A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline OR a proven track record of extensive practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity

    Commercial Analyst

    Your duties will include:

    • Support specific safety, health & sustainability opportunities and risks and ensure transactional purchasing activities complies with all Safety, Health & Environmental requirements.
    • Support team with relevant analytical procurement and end to end sourcing & contracting activities and contracts management
    • Execute timeous and accurate sourcing & contracting and contractor management analytical activities. Regular, timeous and accurate reporting pertaining to all portfolio activities
    • Support the relevant Supply Chain Manager to analyse and update supplier performance, based on contractual KPIs. Escalate contractual risks & operational issues 
    • Provide analytical support to the Supply Chain Manager and Company Representative functions in the implementation and operationalisation of active contracts

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate qualification - Bachelor degree level or equivalent.
    • Alternatively relevant tertiary qualification and proven track record of practical experience in a role and context of similar complexity  
    • Desirable: Practical experience in relevant field or a role of similar context and complexity 

    Experience

    • Solid knowledge of contracts administrative processes and supporting systems (ERP, SAP, SAP Ariba, etc) 
    • General administrative capabilities including minutes, record keeping, digital contract execution processes 
    • Monitoring and reporting of performance management of contractual KPI’s
